This seems like a podcast question: Has the music from Delta been more successful than the music in Frontier? I was under the impression that both Ranka and Sheryl's music sold really well but I was also under the impression that Walkure has done even better. So, maybe Frontier was the better received overall (based on sheer volume of merch) but Delta was a different kind of success. When we were kids, cartoons were 30 minute commercials for toys. Now they're 30 minute commercials for idols. I think there's a lot of people in their 40s who want things to go back to how they were when we were 10 and under and it's just not going to happen. Frontier was great though, hopefully the next series finds that balance. -
Are the Moderoids completed models? They look like toys which I like... but I thought they were models. I'm confused.

I think, even without a discount coupon, the VF-4 PF came out cheaper shipped express through HLJ than it did using FJ. Wasn't HLJ a 4K premium plus 4K shipping while FJ wanted 10K for shipping?

Genesis Breakers is connected with Sentinel and Sentinel doesn't have POs up for their next regular Mospeada products yet so I think we're probably a long while away from knowing more about that. Breakers may just be Aramaki making new designs for Sentinel with not much more meat to it.

I find this all way too interesting. The lower left DVD release looks undersaturated except it's not uniform. Like the blue of the uniform. If you just desaturated the scene, it would look like the gray that we see in the upper right. Though obviously not as sharp, from a purely color perspective, I really prefer the upper left in both examples.

Despite the Robotech name, I'm pretty sure that the Southern Cross and Mospeada books are largely documents prepared by Tatsunoko. The discussion at their panels was that these books were compilations of source materials provided by Tatsunoko to help with the adaptation. For Southern Cross, there was very little material so the discussion was that Udon and HG were working with Tatsunoko to try to source more original production materials that they may have in a vault somewhere or something like that. Given there have been two recent Mospeada books, my bet would be that the Mospeada book will be a rehash of recently published materials since it's the most available but it might be a nice opportunity to get that stuff at a lower price point. The Robotech book will almost certainly NOT include anything relating to Mospeada Breakers.

I'm going to wait and see if any webshops decide to carry the PF version before I make a proxy purchase. I've been burned now by using proxies on two Arcadia website exclusives just to end up paying more than I would have had waited for webshops to carry them.

Southern Cross mechs are very small in comparison to Macross.

The biggest weakness of FJ is definitely the shipping. They have only a few box sizes. They need a bigger box for surface shipping and more mid size boxes for Express.

When you're allowed to use the Macross name and you copy a Macross product box but you're only allowed to sell it where Robotech aired.

They're probably trying to reduce the returns and complaints from people who swear they were buying Takatoku products. Never under estimate human stupidity.

Did I see they teased Votoms HMR also? HMR is an amazing line. How it keeps up and gets back to Macross.
