Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean by forward or backward. If I put the fin in 'flying position' and then park it on the landing gear, the front landing gear doesn't make the ground. It might touch at the same point as the fin. If I sweep into soldier position, the fin touches the ground at the same height as the front landing gear. If I rotate the front landing gear to its most upright position, I get some clearance.

The point wasn't so much that Bandai WOULD make a Cavaliers black, just that they wouldn't copy Yamato non canon schemes. Cavaliers or some new homage scheme are the best bet for a stealth looking scheme (and still, very long shots). We have a lot of primary and secondary schemes to get through before that's a thought.

I had to transform my Zeta to soldier and back to get everything all lined up perfectly but I was very happy after I did. I haven't had anything fall off yet but I do open the forearms before I extend the stabilizers.

Sentinel's Mospeada Breakers project credits both Aramaki's and Kakinuma's involvement so I think it's safe to say there's plenty of respect there and it seems likely Aramaki has been consulted on the ride armor toys to date. Hey, is Kakinuma's involvement proof that there's a Tread coming?

It would be easy for them to rationalize also as black is an awful color for anime. Black vehicles are sometimes depicted as dark blue so they can be discerned from dark backgrounds.

We won't get Yamato non canon schemes. At best, we'd get a Cavaliers in black as a stealth substitute. Where's my Ranka concert special Vf-1?

I wouldn't be surprised if TV Max becomes the most expensive. He's more popular than Hayao and he's the only other release with a low probability of reissue.

From what I understand, it isn't planned as an anime. It might be more of a merchandise line within Sentinel than anything more. Maybe they'll include comics with the products.

Remember, in the early 80s, women didn't serve front line military positions in most militaries around the world... so shows were being progressive by putting women in non-combatant positions alongside men in many cases.

Wow, they actually got rid of the warts! It looks pretty good. Wonder if the 1J still has the warts. The pics for that still shows them.

You just need to partially transform it and then you can rotate the leg at and angle to fix it. No surgery needed.

We also don't know if the toy was dropped. Looks like a solid piece of plastic broke in two.
