    I have both Fugu versions waiting for some attention right now so it will happen. Working 14 hour days though so slow going on the site.

    The same problem happens in the 11B and there are a couple other hinges that will have similar cracks.

    Be aware that the Yamato 1/60 VF-11 molds are prone to having lots of little cracks but they rarely lead to catastrophic failures.

    The one thing they didn't do, that I wish they had, is eliminate the hinge on the panel behind the cockpit. Instead of that panel flipping over the way Gakken did originally, it should recess into the cavity. The array that goes over the shoulder should swivel out on linkage that allows it to sit above the shoulder without that panel being used. The array would twist back toward the exhaust, then pivot on an arm at the back of the chest piece, and then hinge to flip up and over. At this scale, they could have been the first company to make that happen. If they ever did a Shadow/Dark variant (which they obviously wont) that also would eliminate one of the mold changes necessary.

    I wonder if the head lasers are too torqued if you could just spin them completely around (gently) a time or two to loosen them up? Maybe wishful thinking.

    Hong Kong is different China (at least, outside of China) and HK seems to have taken the tariff situation much worse. That might be why ShowZ just bumped up shipping fees while KC is struggling to find an option.

    They really should have just made a Rodimus toy that looked more like a Fire Valkyrie in battroid mode and had the trailer transform into the stage. Transforming into the plane and mating the crumpled plant to the trailer is madness.

    Life is crazy right now! I have so little time but I really want to get to them. As soon as things calm down, I'll start pumping more reviews out.

    Magnets are a much more expensive solution than pegs and slots and if they're not done well, the result can easily be less satisfactory than pegs and slots. Often times the manufacturer still adds a peg and slot to make sure the alignment is perfect, then they're left to wonder why they did the magnet at all when they could have just made the peg and slot a little more robust.

    I wired my home for Ethernet while I was waiting to move in... Everyone thought I was crazy because mesh has taken over but I love my old dependable wires.

    I love being able to preheat the oven while I'm at the store getting the kids their corn dogs or whatever. My fridge has wifi but I never even bothered to set it up. The advantium microwave oven is set up but I've never used it. They should add a reset feature to the apps though because sometimes the microwave gets itself in a bizarre state and needs a reboot.

    I think there's a lot more to this story. Neighbors claim he had his power shut off and was heating his home via a fire pit before it burned down? Sounds like there might be lots of crazy in that neighborhood. Gives me a healthy appreciation for my sane and friendly neighbors.

    Bleh, the shipping issues are real. ThreeZero just told me they can't ship me two tiny parts to fix my Focker 1S toy until the US rescinds its tariffs. Woof. I hope this gets resolved before the Glaug hits.
