  1. This is a nice design from Gundam 00, are you going with the standard colors? I put mine in a clone trooper outfit:
  2. So is the new dark grey top scheme for the Russian Naval Aviation or is it the general scheme for the Air Force, since the new SU-34s have it, too. Reminds me of the JASDF scheme, btw.
  3. New Classic Raider kit next to the new Classic Viper (both 1/32) - I need a bigger house...
  4. You'd think that Scott had noticed that while they were still making the film.
  5. with another new paint scheme? http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-35S/2273615/M/
  6. Looks like the movie I've been waiting for for the last 20 years... As it turns out, these were actually done by Syd Mead. Can't wait for the art book.
  7. With middle or dark colors, I use no primer at all on plastic or resin kits. But it's important to clean the parts well, just before the paint application, since grease and dust will collect on them when you're handling and sanding them.
  8. Kotobukiya Vic Viper is on sale at HLJ: http://www.hlj.com/product/KBYKP-202/
  9. Massive necromancy because Pegasus Models will release a T2 Hunter Killer injection kit in the near future. This is a painted test shot:
  10. If I ever build another VF-1, it will be the Hase 1/48. Great work.
  11. I tried Blender, too, and I state that the interface was purposely designed to keep everyone except hardcore 3d modeling haxxor freaks from using the software.
  12. I've been wondering about this, too. At first glance, Bandai seemed to have stayed very close to the CG models from the animation. Maybe Hase just brings us a better assembly, better surface detail (though Bandai was pretty good there), a better cockpit (Bandai seemed to have copied the simplified setup from the animation model here), and, most important, better decals. And all of this, of course, for a more affordable price. Skull Squadron, assemble!
  13. None of the product descriptions I've seen so far mention light-up features, so it may be just a mean photoshop trick. According to Hobbysearch, the size is 16 cm, so it's even smaller than the Kotobukiya kit (18 cm).
  14. So we have this: DWG109 = Messerschmitt Bf-109 FG156 = Me-163 DWG262 = Me-262 DWG229 = Horten Ho-229 DMB87 = Ju-87 Stuka (note the angled wings) Any ideas for the others?
  15. I spotted it at the left of this photo; yes, it's small. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BHGZHHdCIAEJR-L.jpg:large
  16. Already announced in the Riobot thread, but I think it should be in here, too: Riobot Jehuty is finally coming in September. It has even more gimmicks & accessories than the Kotobukiya and Revoltech figures combined, for a mere 13500 Yen (cough). More Large pictures: http://mecha-guy.blogspot.de/2013/06/riobot-jehuty-large-official-images.html And here: http://mecha-guy.blogspot.de/2013/06/riobot-jehuty-on-display.html
  17. Did I understand it correctly that the UX-01 "Submarine" will only be released as a Mekakore add-on to another kit?
