  1. Looking forward to see the finished sequence. I just noticed that the original is almost 20 years old, still my favorite opening.
  2. So the F-35 is super stealthy but you can hear them coming across half the country... Are there any soundseeker missiles yet?
  3. So is there anybody building his kit?
  4. The german text describes that scientists at the Technical University of Munich succeeded in translating EEG signals into commands for a flight simulator. That goes well beyond a paper concept.
  5. We're one step closer to COFFIN/Electrosphere: http://www.fp7-brainflight.eu/ German Press release
  6. There is some ZOE stuff in HLJ's latest sale, like the Koto kits, Revoltech and Riobot's Jehuty. Toys Kits
  7. We've been there: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=35963
  8. Well, the robots in Elysium were specifically un-japanese and utilitarian, but cool as heck nonetheless.
  9. You mean something like the J-20?
  10. New Mecha-Collection kits at Shizuoka: http://dorobou.c.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_2d5/dorobou/E38390E383B3E38380E382A4E380802E38080P1090131-4f5f4.JPG
  11. The packs look a bit fat compared to the Hase kits IMO. If I understood Hobbysearch's translation correctly, you need to buy a Battroid to get the Gerwalk mode. I really like Wave's Battroids, but I constantly find myself disagreeing with their price policy.
  12. The kit looks really sharp. So far Kotobukiya does not disappoint.
  13. Well, the parts of Sloan I read in my innocent youth resembled "Gladiator" on (lots of) LSD, so I found that more fitting. But if we get to see the Engineer's home world in a Prometheus sequel, there's plenty of room for Druillet's visions of a world of mad gods.
  14. I'd say that Sloane requires a more adult mind. Come to think about it, it's something Ridley Scott could have done instead of "Gladiator".
  15. +1 for the GP01. It's amazing to just watch the knee joint mechanics in action.
  16. 1/35 Logicoma plastic kit from Kotobukiya: Logicoma with Kusanagi Motoko & Aramaki Daisu...
  17. It's up at Hobbysearch with an August release date. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10276496 Looks not bad but you can get the 1/48 Hasegawa kit for only a few yen more.
  18. They should have Syd Mead do the illustration... Still a great MG. I recently ordered the old non-grade 1/144 kit (under 5$ at HLJ) for a challenge.
  19. Looks like a modified 1/72 Imai/Bandai kit, the front lens is from a Master Grade Ball.
  20. Here's a photo collection from the show, with good shots of the new Hase kits and hobby club's expositions: https://www.flickr.com/photos/naitma/sets/72157644698279171/
