  2. Sweet. What pink did you paint it with?
  3. Impressive... Giving me wild ideas!
  4. Also apparently quite easy to take apart. https://x.com/simanto50100/status/2038068367375114596 Other online chatter are saying the legs are such that the triangles on the thighs act as buttons to unlock whole leg from the hip.

  9. Bandai spent on what is basically a completely new mold for the VF-19kai, and if there is one thing that Bandai mecha collectible buyers are sure of, Bandai will want to maximise on the investment by milking the mold dry with as little retooling as possible, and if possible, leveraging on main character popularity. So, my take is that IF there is any announcement this year, the VF-19P Zolan Patrol being announced 1st would be more likely than VF-19F/S.
  10. Was working on mine and really like this kit. I never realized he had creepy toes until this kit. I don’t think I ever saw that in the show or any other kits or toys that I have.
  11. For those not liking this new Bandai creation, the old 1/65 DX version of the VF-17D is for sale on Mandarake, two available. Bandai 1/65 scale DX Stealth Valkyrie VF17D | Mandarake Online Shop
  12. This is live at the time of this posting. it's bee up for 5 hours already and I tried it, the coupon is still active. for $3500 with a 5090 is a steal.
  13. I finished the Moderoid kit

  15. I see that. Definitely the short bus crew there. But there’s a certain charm to them as well and they make me feel like I could accomplish anything since even they became Tomcat pilots.
  16. Like I said, not a perfect movie, but great fun with some popcorn and yeah, those items definitely would’ve come in handy.

    DX Chogokin VF-17S

I'm so bummed out over the VF-17S I paid full price for at HLJ that I went back into modern airplane modelling and bought a 1/48 Tamiya F-14D and.... omg it's nice to support a company that cares about its customers
  18. I'm not necessarily inclined to argue. I think Takara (and/or Hasbro, by extension) are at their best making when making mass-market toys. Like, yeah, they have their flaws like limited articulation, in some areas, limited paint, or hollow spots, and some outright misses *cough Astrotrain*, but generally you're not mad about it because they're chunky, solid toys you can mess around with and you're usually not paying more than $60 (save for the annual Titans and Commanders, or the odd Haslab). But it's a different story when you're paying a premium for something ostensibly collector-focused. I mean, I'd have never paid $350 for MP-36, but I didn't have any problems paying that for Soul of Chogokin Dairugger/Vehicle Voltron. Still, for your sake, I hope you're happy with Predaking. I'm out, though, he's just too small for my collection. Same.
  19. @slideVery cool. Excited to see more. While I work on the L-Gaim MK-2 I decided to crack into the Deculture. What a simple smart kit. I’m going with the Alaska version. 💚 The MK-2 is a 1/100 and here it is next to the Volks IMS 1/100. It’s slightly smaller but will look good next to the FSS builds in my collection. Also the binders in the kit have a beautiful clear blue. They will look even better once I put silver behind them.
