Finished season five of Unforgotten, and not ashamed the say I got a little teary-eyed there.😢Really good series. I have to see about season six now, and hope that they make another past that, as the creator has said he would probably be leaving the series. That makes its further future uncertain. Sad, but maybe not a surprise seeing how he has written every single episode for all six seasons! After that, I started Patience, another British procedural crime series. This one centers on an autistic young woman who ends up helping the local police solve crimes. Not as good as Broadchurch or Unforgotten, but entertaining for the character interactions. A down-side is that it seems the police were not able to solve any crimes until she showed up, but the portrayal of the main character is well done, IMO, esp as the actress actually has Autism. One more episode to go this season and the last episode finally had a satisfactory punch to it. Then it was onto Astrid et Raphaëlle, which is actually the original French series Patience is based on. Gave it a shot out of curiosity and found myself really liking it. Actually better than Patience in some ways, as it shows more of the police angle, which really helps to flesh out the investigations as more than just the main character stepping. This version, Astrid, is also more socially disabled than the Patience-version, and I don't know how accurate it is, but I like too. Looks like I'll be watching both...

I like the skull logo too, but I don't like grey color scheme.

Got a knock off MD Everdrive at a local game shop yesterday after a doctors appointment. From what I was told it’ll handle any sega product between genesis to cd and it had me massively curious. Now I just need to find an actual 32 gig sd card for this blasted thing. This’ll tie me over games wise I guess with the limited funds I’ve gotten lately. Hopefully it works I haven’t had the best of luck with these kinds of devices in the past.

According to the e-mail I received, Sentinel Store will be shipping them out on the 25th: ●7月25日(金)出荷 RIOBOT 1/48 AB-01H トレッド(ストア限定特典付) Actually, he's from neither show. Rick Hunter is a Robotech character (most recently seen in The Shadow Chronicles). 🤮 That means he's fair game for marketing Macross or Mospeada merchandise... outside of Japan, at least. 😒

DC Studios Superman - July 11, 2025

It's because it's the current world event causing controversy. I'm old so Israel Gaza wasn't my first thought, but Slobodan Milošević, Serbia, and the wars in Kosovo and Bosnia with a generic IndPakistania stand in for those two later places.- 156 replies

Is this massive thread necromancy? Yeah. . . but it’s the most appropriate thread for these. (The figures are almost all from the old 25th line). So for the longest time, my display had 8 of the Original 13 Joes that first came out when the ARAH line started in the 80’s: (Yeah, I know General Hawk had a different look for his first figure, but I’m including my custom bomber jacket version with the Original 13 crew.) But maybe it’s the wifey doing her own preorder madness and going to the mall when it first opens to “collectible” hunt. But I got the urge to buy and customize the last five of the Original 13: I’m sure there’s numerous reasons/excuses why I never got these final five before. But figured it’d be a fun little project to complete the Original 13. Massive props to HissHissFangFang over at the Hisstank forums. I definitely crib a few ideas from his massive detailed custom works on the Original 13. Four out of these five have some sort of customization . . . with Breaker just getting an additional uzi and some minor darkening of his facial stubble. More pics:

THE ONLY place. to find the tote bag. Is the Mandarake auctions.

NOOO I would never do that to my stickers. I have ask Chacha Maru to buy them. So he could sell them. I just needed the SDF-1 button.

The other Milia' DYRL film strip. No comment on that one.
-
There is a yellow variant and a white one. That has the DYRL logo on the bottom. It has only the Macross logo on the middle of the bag.
-
There is a yellow one as well. I know it was you. You did beat me from the Max DYRL film strip. I didn't bid on the last two Milia' DYRL film strips because I knew you wanted them.

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!

That's a very intriguing thought. It certainly makes a lot of sense to recover and recycle damaged and ruined ships (et al), as that arguably requires less expenditure than mining, extracting, smelting and so on to create metallic alloys. At the very least, they'd have a higher level of certainty in their estimates of what materials they are likely to acquire. 🤔
