  5. Taking references / inspirations from VF-X cover, hasegawa, yamato. (Ratio; Fighter nose to intake (4/4), intake to wing (4/4), wing to tips of stabilizer (2/4). Spec; a) must have engines display (removable cover), front intake actually have duct connected to hover mechanism and both rear engines. b) Battroid silhouettes have to close to Shoji Kawamori snesei's line art. c) transformation, wing platform as main core support of parts. d) have to look slim as nature of 21 & 22. d) named vf 22 plus is implement my transformation ideas into it, The silhouettes of fighter, gerwalk and battroid have to follow original creator. This are few specs i lists in my scoops.
  6. Initial block out in solidworks sketches for Battroid height close to Type 02 plus or minus
  7. Thank you. Lists of Scoop of works; one of it is have to be far better than Bandai respectively.
  8. Yeah, me too. If it's not at least a million dollars, I don't bid. 😝
  9. I'm not so sure I'd call that a sixth-generation fighter, as it looks to have more in common with a Gundam waverider, albeit a far sleeker one than we usually see. It's just a little too sci-fi looking with way too many gaps and overlapping panels and a lack of a proper cockpit. Visually, it's quite busy, whereas modern stealth planes are all smooth contours. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but it lacks realism in its flight mode. However, if they did an anime or a game with this as a featured mech, that'd be cool. Edited to add that there simply are not enough games where you can play a transforming mecha, a lamentable omission in the already sparse mecha game genre.
  10. Revisiting some Patlabor..
  11. That seems like a pretty cool kitbash and still within the spirit of the line
  12. I imagine you've been staring at some line art as you begin this project. What's a good source of VF-22 line art?
  13. That is going to be LARGE!!!
  14. Looking Good there Anthony!.I have one of these in the stash to replace my broken one. One day I'll get to it.
  15. That looks pretty cool. I've been noticing those 30mm kits as of late , in my ongoing "quest for cool kits".
  16. Thanks for the info. I have used gouache before on paper. Never consider it on models. I’ll give it a try.
  17. Looking forward to you turning your talents on the VF-22. Hoping it's better then what Bandai gave us.
  18. Time for some necromancy. I've been recently gifted with a tall stack of 30mm kits; a friend is reducing his backlog and is in turn increasing mine. The 30mm line has been steadily growing for the past few years and some of the custom designs I've seen from the huge selection of available parts look outstanding. I opened up a couple of kits and started playing around with them: The head is from the Kotobukiya Modeling Goods line, and I still have to paint it. I had to do some mods to make it work though, Koto's heads attach differently than the stock 30mm heads. I totally dig this head, it looks like something from a 90's arcade game. I think I'm a 30mm fan now .
  19. That area is just rife with shops like that. For the past few Thanksgiving holidays, we've been visiting family over there and the Black Friday sales I run into always end up with me with a full loot bag - good times!
  20. Yes, an Amazing Macross Milia cel for sure, definitely would love to add this one to my collection.
