  1. Past hour
  2. I appreciate the compliment, but these guys are so far beyond my meager talent. Trotta's stuff just boggles my mind. He designs and builds on a whole other level that few others I've seen can match. It's art.
  3. Let me know when you're ready to sell, @mikeszekely. I've always preferred MMC and I always regretted not having Bruticus as a kid. Thanks!
  4. I'm still quite partial to the Bubbleship from Oblivion. It's such a sublime design. It also reminds me of Kawamori's Variable City Police Machine, a mecha that deserves a toy, IMHO.

  6. Don’t be too harsh to yourself. You have an amazing talent for Lego MOCs. @wm cheng if you like this MOC you probably also like the R-Type one as well:
  7. Spectacular
  8. No worries. I try to shine a light on these builders when they pop up, as they and their work deserve recognition, appreciation, and a wider audience beyond just the LEGO nerds. A couple others you may like are Bob DeQuatre, Big Planes, and the late incomparable Nate Nielson, AKA nnenn, whose brilliant and prolific spacecraft, especially the Vic Viper from Gradius, created a movement that continues to this day. Nnenn wasn't always celebrated in the LEGO community, as he was an artist first, and LEGO happened to be a handy medium. He had no qualms about taking sandpaper to parts to smooth out straight edges, painting parts, or otherwise modding them to his liking. The LEGO purists weren't down with this molestation of the Sacred Brick when the community first became aware of him. He didn't really care- he built for himself and his two small sons. Ultimately, however, a number of more prominent builders began to celebrate and even mimic his style, and AFAIK, a couple reached out to him personally. I only found out shortly after his death in an auto accident that he lived rather close to me and I wish I'd met him. Perhaps I passed him at Toys R Us at some point. I'll never know. There's a fitting tribute to Nate on the Brothers Brick and his Flickr page remains open for all to enjoy thanks to LEGO community members. Few builders that I'm aware of have had the impact that Nate has had within the community, and there are still Vic Viper contests happening to this day due to his influence. He wasn't looking to become a legend, but he became one nonetheless, deservedly so. RIP nnenn

  10. It's for Windows, yeah. I distrust 8bitdo. The couple of their controllers I've used had kinda awful d-pads, though I acknowledge these are much older controllers(an NES30 Pro and FC30 Pro that I got more because they were cute than because they were practical). I actually like a wired controller just for the simplicity of not caring about the battery, and the one I've been using is a ... PowerA Advantage Plus? Enhanced Advantage? Something like that. Aside from having a very pretty iridescent plastic face, it has two programmable back buttons and low-friction plastic inserts on the analog sticks. I actually really like it. But the left stick doesn't center strongly anymore so i get a lot of movement from it being slightly off-center these days, the left stick's low-friction ring is now worn and feels gritty, and the right rumble motor is dead(probably because I dropped it). The loose stick is the biggest issue. Anyways... High Score 100 disliked this post. Says he's all the controller I need, but he's just too small.
  11. Damn, they're making it REALLY hard to not get that HISS.
  12. Greetings everyone, I need your help! As I teased on Facebook a few of days ago, I'd like to offer the following modelling project: a 1/6 MOTOCYCLE FREAK YERO-TYPE armor + accessories set. This would be similar to the original MOTOCYCLE FREAK released almost 3 years ago, but with the following detail revisions: -revised front helmet for the YERO-TYPE -green-tinted visor -new face sculpt to more accurately represent YERO -the carabine parts (stock. barrel, sling) replaced with a 4-battery (HBT) pack **Kindly note that an MX02-A body figure and body stocking will be required (not included) to complete this figure. ** To make this project happen, I need a MINIMUM of 12 orders (non-negotiable). If you're interested in obtaining a kit, you will need to PM me to let me know and I will compile a list. I will let the project run until January 3rd (inclusive) 2026, at which point IF I have enough interest, I will send out payment requests and start the project. If you can, please share about this project on other pages, and even other sites, just please be respectful of the rules where you post. Ready, set... go!!!
  13. Do you need a controller for an actual Xbox, or a PC? If it's the latter, I've find that the Xbox controller, though sort of the standard, isn't all that great. For probably less money, depending on sales, I personally own and recommend the 8bitdo Ultimate 2. TMR sticks, Hall effect triggers, two programmable buttons on the back, two extra programmable bumper buttons, and a charging cradle that can but store the UBC receiver as well as double as a pass through for said receiver.
  14. Understandable. The stores are terrible right now, the roads around them even worse. I was in a Target yesterday for non-robot-related reasons, and was surprised the sea of empty pegs and shelves had a full load of Hot Wheels Transformers. I now own a Twin Mill. Not a Boneshaker though, I think he's ugly. ... I do NOT own a working XBawks controller, which was most of why I was actually there. I have a half-working controller, and the new controller I bought to replace it is just non-working, so not really a viable replacement. And my assortment of other controllers are not of the standard layout and feature set, making them poor general-purpose devices.
  15. So nice to see The Ubiquitous is still getting put to good use! 🥰
  16. @BroTaku79 Thank you for all the great products you've made available.
  17. I'll buy Swerve and Powerglide. I wish Gears had the same wheels. The red piece under Powerglide in plane mode is the main part I don't like. Studio Series 86 40th Anniversary Hot Rod.
  18. That depends, apparently – I have a 1/48 J-10, and every panel has it's own ZIP code.
  19. Wow! Just incredible, thanks @M'Kyuun never knew about these guys - simply amazing. Thanks @Scyla I wish these get made into real sets at some point!
  20. Haha nice! after rubbing off the plastic with ISO, those plamax stickers adhere pretty well.
  21. Think we all would have, Ares seems like it was such an unnecessary film that steals from the events of Legacy in a bad way which is really sad. I kept getting a little conflicted on wanting to watch it but seeing how I can't rent it for under 5 bucks I don't even see a purpose to, I'm not spending 25 bucks on that movie.
  22. Sorry to hear you’ve taken a loss for this. I appreciate the work you’ve put into the stands. I hope you made some money on the U.N. Spacey stands. I thought they were a hit and sold out really quick.
  23. Could be the lighting; AFAIK the plane is in the front of the display, the bot in the back, and I'm not sure but I think on the second tier. Could also be because they're engineering samples and not the final product.
