I really don't know why people are so down on it. I liked it better than Fantastic Four or Superman when it comes to movies I've seen this year.

Great looking f-15 J-kai. Luckily the 1/72 stuff is close enough in scale to the 1/60 moderoids so they don't look too out of place next to eachother

I see. Thanks for the heads up. The search continues.

Just a word of caution: IKEA discontinued the Detolf, so you’d have to see what other alternatives they have for glass display cases. The biggest drawback is that none of their other offerings really have that unobstructed look that the Detolf has. 🫤

That's awesome. -
I guess they’re saying it’s the worst performing Leto project. Another Leto letdown at the box office

But if that's true, I hope Disney sells the production rights to a company that can treat it better.

RIP Legend of poster art. @TangledThorns he had just one day to finish the poster for "The Thing". Apparently, Robert Rodriguez bought the original painting:

Just another day at the office. -
Classics posters that we grew up with. Somehow THE THING poster stands out the most for me as its unlike Drew's other works and keeps the story a paranoid horror mystery.

It was definitely hard to miss those posters going to the theater or the blockbuster back in the day

couple of recent updates from Mr.K... re: 1/60 Hikaru Strike VF-1S https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/1978239870859460811 web-translated: re: Arcadia website https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/1978241378053230819 web-translated:

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it. The plot, while not amazing, was better than expected, the visuals were cool (see it in 3D if you can), and the soundtrack was cool.

I haven't handled mine in forever but I think they could have done the leg gun with a folding gun on the 1/65... Scale it 1/60 and give us two guns, one that fits and one that looks good.

Yeah, it's kind of a natural progression to the active camo/paint they had in Delta. I don't think we saw anything like it in Frontier on a valk (unless you want to count Battle Galaxy ), but they obviously can project holograms over pretty much anything they like at this point.

Yeah, the old Bandai 1/65 toys are still my favorite versions of the VF-17D & VF-17S and in fact one of my all-time favorite Macross toys. A few relatively simple improvements to the 1/65 would make them so much better. I'd like to see the 1/65 VF-17 redesigned with the following changes: Improved hand sculpt, perhaps with different swapable fixed pose hands. Improved gunpod sculpt. Modify the knee joints so that the knees bend both forward and back (a modification that many owners do themselves anyway). Improved front and rear landing gears and landing gear doors, to make them more lineart accurate. Add ratcheted ball joints to the hips to allow the toy to do an A stance. Perhaps add an opening canopy and pilot figure.

Lol. That's a great idea.

Wow, probably the best cover/movie poster artist ever. He will be missed.

I have the double sided version of the TPM poster. That would be my favorite one of his.

I've been thinking about how the 19P magically gets a 19Kai face and it occurs to me that the 19Kai should have had a screen projecting a singing face all along. That would have allowed them to do a moving mouth and facial expressions to recreate a singer (not that I love that plot). The 19P could have turned on it's projector to create the 19Kai face in the same way... It's just then that Basara chooses to load that program. That's how I would retcon it.

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It really was a long time since Vision made any type of appearance. I forgot til you mentioned it that there was a white vision. Things seem to be moving much much slower in shows these days- 1529 replies
