    Looking much better than the grey prototypes, however excluding Divebomb the proportions suck with the rest. Razorclaw looks bad with that oversized waist (like Haslab Fire Convoy) and blocky upper body instead of a nice v-shape.

    Is the latest Macross F All Time Best Nyan Nyan Greatest Hits limited gift set worth it? I already have most of the songs in CDs (from the 2008 Macross F Vocal Collection, 2010 Cosmic Cuune, and 2021 labyrinth of time), so would be buying mostly for the extras. I haven't done a dive on whether there are songs I don't already have.

    It'll probably be 5 inches tall... around the $50-$60 range... If we go with their similar diaclone pieces. Takara tends to prioritize playability before collectability.

    I’ll be spending that weekend testing weapons fit, painting the stinkin’ fixed pose pilot to be Rey (among other things), and snapping comparison pics with the ol’ Toynami combo. And probably bringing back the ol’ moogle avatar.

    This is what I want them to do. Bandai already makes expensive stuff that's too delicate to play with. I'd love something I could leave on my desk and transform more than once in a blue moon.

    Maybe try a cheap plastic spoon and a spare decal to try and see how things go and get a feel for it. Do a crappy scribe on the spoon to give it texture and that will really test the methods before trying it on an actual kit. Party spoons are great for testing.

    For aircraft, I kinda like Satin coat. It gives a bit of a sheen without being too dull. For tankish type armor, I like plain ol’ dull coat

    Luckily they got most of the complex engineering already laid out for them. From the Mospeada prototype Takara seems to be staying true to their MO, producing playable toys instead if ultra expensive collector pieces.
