  1. Past hour
  2. I usually get import releases outside of Mafex figures three to fourth months after release with BBTS. Especially big items
  3. Today
  4. For some reason stuff I wanted such as dx fire valk, sdf-1 reissue, etc all ended up getting released the month of October, my wallet is literally bracing for impact.😁 release delay? Yes please.

  6. I also have the SDF-1 on order and some other high ticket items. Hopefully we can convince them to change their tactic.
  7. Yesterday
  8. ha..the fix is to use Buyee to get it from HLJ, then you'll 'only' get the 15% tariff penalty 😛 oh crap...I have an SDF-1 on preorder from HLJ....crap crap crap, that is going to be a 30% er. UGH.
  9. No, you work up to it. Done right, that opening crawl could fill two hours with total excitement!
  10. Something like a FAG/Mospeda kitbash? https://jp.pinterest.com/pin/336221928450528161/
  11. A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace has finally had an episode that supports the idea that it's a comedy, and it ain't bad. Kinda makes you wonder why they spent the first two depicting the main character in abject misery the entire time. A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai is still pretty darn generic to the point of being not really worth watching. It did, however, finally do something reasonably novel. My Awkward Senpai is finally attempting to do romance, though not well. The comedy aspect is still missing.
  12. Hm... I got charged for my VF-19 over on HLJ, but it hasn't been added to my Private Warehouse yet. It seems to be still stuck in processing? Hope it doesn't take too long and nothing goes wrong.
  13. 😆 So the important bit is barely long enough to boil an egg and the rest is filler? This feels a lot like that suggestion that Star Wars's creative team use the World Between Worlds from Rebels to retcon the sequel trilogy out entirely... which would then require them to explain WTH the World Between Worlds even was, and feel like the same kind of cheap knee-jerk as what it replaced.
  14. Another possible explanation for it is that they screwed up what was meant to be the same reference to its pilot that can be found in the game's loading screens. Several machines in the loading screens that are associated with specific characters have a / followed by the character's initials including: YF-29B Perceval /R.B. Custom VF-22 Sturmvogel II / M.J. Custom VF-22 Sturmvogel II / M.F.J. Custom VF-22 Sturmvogel II / G.K. Custom VF-27 Lucifer / M.R. Custom Queadluun-Rher (sic) / K.K. Custom YF-30 Chronos / R.S. Custom Though this convention is NOT applied to the pics for Aisha's VF-19E or Mina's VF-11C. If it had been, they would simply have put the wrong name after the slash since the VF-11C is Mina Forte's custom aircraft, not the VF-19E.
  15. HLJ hasn't responded but I think I get what they're doing, they're applying the Chinese tariff rate because the products originated in China. That's really following 'the letter of the law' as they say. I don't think that's what Anime Export did.
  16. Looks like HLJ added a time limit to their "unlimited" private warehouse. Guess my Fire Valkyrie and other stuff is going to sit there until the tariffs are rescinded or March 31, 2026, whichever comes first.
  17. I hope so...getting nervous.
  18. Thanks! Since there is only one version of this GBP, It will probably be 30% higher then retail, US tariffs don't effect me so I'm good there, but just hope it doesn't take forever to pop up on Mandarake....😱
  19. *hurries and fixes original post* I have no idea what you're talking about...🤫 I had three out of five of the FT Aerialbots and sold them. I don't miss them. If you like heavy blocks of robots with limited posability and unnecessarily complex engineering you might like them, but I didn't care for them, and I especially hated their Silverbolt. As for DST's, I guess I thought about them they way you think about their Constructicons... kinda neat, but ultimately not G1 enough to hold my interest. But I think that works out better for me, by most accounts the QC of the Aerialbots was much worse than their Constructicons. It's funny, I actually though this set wasn't G1 enough, either, but I wanted Scrapper because he looked cool and he's my favorite Constructicon. I liked him enough that when I saw Hook using his crane as a sickle I figured I'd try one more and liked that one enough to go in on the rest. Long Haul was a bit of a bear, but Bonecrusher is a return to form. Can't wait to see how Mixmaster, Scavenger, and Prowl turn out.
  20. This IS nothing so far me... Haven't heard a peep.
  21. Well looking back at the VF-1J, a 4 year inflationary adjustment from 33000 to 39600 I guess it isn't ALL bad, but the dealer markups make it insane.
  22. This one is going to be expensive to try and get If we start off at 39,600, then getting it on YJ there will be a 10,000 yen markup at least, and then the 15% tariff fee to get to the US. At current exchange rate that is approx $400 USD! Then add in intra-japan and international shipping, and we will be at $460 no doubt. Who the heck is able to afford this
  23. Hey Mike, I noticed this in the last sentence of your second paragraph. I think you meant to say, " Bonecrusher's shovel chest". "The vertical green "straps" flanking the purple on his chest with the red details do a rather good job of recalling G1 Hook's shovel chest." I appreciate the look at these guys, although I must confess that my interest is minimal. While I commend DST for their innovative takes, my inclination is heavily towards the G1 look. I will say, however, that objectively, I think this is a superior design over the G1 designs, as the bots tend to be cleaner, the alt modes more realistic, and I assume the full combined mode will likely be clean, highly pose able, and more visually interesting. I figure subjectivity and a heavy dose of nostalgia color my tendency towards the G1 look, but I'll give credit where it's due. I went in on DST's takes on Slingshot and Skydive, as both had better than average Harrier and F-16 modes, an extreme rarity with Transformers figures. Granted, like their Constructicons, DST took a fair amount of liberty with the robot designs, but I like how they look. I stopped with those two, although I think DST did a good job with their takes on Air Raid and Fireflight which gave me hope for their Silverbolt. Unfortunately, the latter fared no better than the vast majority of other companies' takes on the character. To date, I think Fans Toys have made the best version and yet its Concorde mode had its share of flaws, too. However, at least it used the majority of fuselage to form the bot instead of concentrating it all into a giant cube underneath. In the end, I grew disenchanted with DST and once again abandoned any interest I may have had of owning a decent set of Aerialbots. Part of me regrets not going in on the FT Aerialbots, but with lack of space becoming my greatest hurdle in collecting, I'm hoping that either Magic Square or New Age will rise to the challenge. Honestly, I don't have much hope that either would take a different avenue with their Aerialbot designs, but I'd very much love to be proven wrong.
  24. Was also in the Amazon cancelled my legios group, but I was able to find another one on ebay quickly for around retail. Shipping is $45 but that isn't bad with the de minimis tariff relief gone.
  25. It was for me... lol. So its this or nothing
  26. I'm definitely gonna paint this in G1 Roadbuster colors. 😋
