  2. Always tell Amazon. They will make it right.
  3. In an interview last week with Rolling Stone, Tony Gilroy revealed the two legacy characters who would not appear in season 2. The title of the article is a partial spoiler to this, so I won't link it. Speaking of legacy characters,
  4. Got my Max figure in last week. In hand it didn't turn out as bad as I thought, maybe because my expectations were already low lol. Generally, when fiddling with it up close there are some cringey details, mainly the cheap looking material used for his white uniform, and his rather meh facial sculpt. On other hand, the cut of his outfit has been done rather well with a rather nice fit for a figure at this scale, and didn't seem as ill-measured as what I remembered from early pics. At normal display distance, it turns out to be rather decent and glad that I didn't have that expected buyer's remorse. A note about these KC cloth outfits - I hope some of the PVC detailing printed on the cloth do not dry out and crack prematurely. Now that I have Max, I think of Miriya and am now wondering whatever happened to KC's plan for her? We've been so caught up with their KS campaign, subsequent announcements of Destroids, Glaug & what not that she seems to have been forgotten... Not a sculpt or even artwork of her, when she should already have been released together with the metallic arcade VF-1s.

  6. I'd assume that, as in the real UC, Mobile Suits in this bad future alternate UC were developed as weapons from the start rather than as construction equipment. (It's only in the Gundam AUs that Mobile Suits were developed as nonmilitary hardware first.) Given that MS's like the Zaku are still military hardware even in alternate UC 0085, it seems unlikely that they would be in civilian hands as industrial machinery... and they're also be astonishingly expensive, making it unlikely a civilian construction firm would risk totaling one (or more) on illegal underground fights. The idea that a handful of broke refugees are able to acquire, repair, maintain, and arm something like a Zaku is pretty silly on its own. It's even worse with Shuji and the Red Gundam, since he's seemingly doing it all himself in a cramped airlock space that the Gundam doesn't even fit in. Just Anno's usual sloppy writing. Well... yeah? That's what it is. The Beginnings pamphlet from the movie suggests that Zeon cancelled the original MS-14 Gelgoog program after Char captured the RX-78 Gundam. It seems that Zeonic simply reused the cancelled program's name for their mass produced Gundam they reverse-engineered from the RX-78, making the Gelgoog literally a Zeon GM.
  7. Wow those are awesome cases for the boards! My 3 are just in an ugly box. Where did you get them? You have 3 cabinets on what looks like the 2nd floor? You are brave! Those things are heavy!!! Awesome collection! You need to get the B1 Macross game posters next
  8. and a Tamaschii post on Twitter we get! Following on from the "HI-METAL R Scopedog (Space Combat Version)" which will soon be delivered to all pre-order holders, we are also currently working hard on the development of "HI-METAL R Fatty" which we have already announced will be commercialized! Please stay tuned for further updates.
  9. The S3 OVA's were on point.. good stuff.
  10. Literally me. Those are the only two designs that almost look good to me, and had the most impactful action sequences at that. They're what I look forward to seeing in model kit form most, just to make a final decision on whether I like their designs or not lol. At the same time, it seems like those are exactly the two units getting skipped for kits... Somehow even the Light Guncannon that only showed up to get tossed by an explosion for 2 frames is getting a kit before them... Maybe they are saving those two for P-Bandai 2 years after the show ends 🤡
  11. Nice picture review on hacchaka.net

  13. Sure to be good @pengbuzz @derex3592 and an inaugural model ready to get snipped! Good looking fun space.
  14. Nicely done! Congratulations.
  15. Joe Jackson’s got the time, just borrow a little from him
  16. Let's GOOOOOoooo!!!! Model room renovation 2.0 is ready! Let's get busy building again! Now....to find the time......😵‍💫
  17. That's entirely on Bandai for failing to understand the entire point of rotating the gear. They made the wheels so tiny, and the wings so thick, there's no point to even folding them flat. I've had this happen before as well, and it's generally because there's a specific angle that the wheel needs to be at before it will slot into the bay deep enough to not interfere with the door closing. I've had to experiment with finding the proper angle, and I can't remember which direction it is, but it's not exactly vertical. You might need to rotate the strut while pushing it into the bay. Edit: I was able to sneak in a quick look on my way out the door, the trick I've used is to tip the upper half of the tire slightly inboard to get it to settle into a cutout in the metallic details inside the bay.
  18. I'm still salty about getting an opened box that was sold as new with the damn antenna missing. I hope the person that did that poops their pants in a very public setting.
  19. I wonder if I will be able to order one via HLJ/amiami. The Seed Freedom one looks cool and is not too on the nose with the source material.
  20. I think if I could find a Galen Erso for a good price I would pick it up. The Storm Trooper with the Cherry Blossom design is another favorite. The Hot Toys Anakin/Darth Vader (Sith Apprentice) Artisan Edition went for 160,000 yen through Mandarake. Too much money for me.
