Glad you got the sarcasm. Actually though, I'd be alright with it if it was maybe under $200. It's not like Miriya is a super hard cel to find. Rarer in her helmet, sure, but IMO, that takes away from the character than makes it more valuable.

I don’t always agree with what he’s got to say, but sometimes a drunken opinion is fun for entertainment, even when I think there are times where he’s too harsh on some projects and not critical enough on others, I just look at as silly opinions rather than serious reviews

That’s very different. Gundamacross. It came it very cohesive -
Really nice display. I’m surprised that with the popularity and ease of locating items that we don’t see many gundam kits posted in these pages. this is a great looking classic. Thanks for sharing this one

To be honest, it doesn't actually stand out that much in the series proper. The reason it doesn't stand out is that the series is trying so hard to sell her character as "quirky" and "eccentric" like her fellow Lanthanite CDR Pelia from Strange New Worlds that the writers have given her multiple annoying habits. Pelia can get away with it because she's mainly a comic relief character. Nahla Ake can't, because the series wants us to take her and her position seriously. So instead her habits just make her come off as unprofessional, rude, and occasionally hypocritical. Something something "even a broken clock is right twice a day"... Don't you be hating on my farmer's market folks now. Starfleet Academy is being marketed to Gen Z and Gen Alpha. The show's actual presentation definitely feels like the showrunners don't actually respect those viewers much, if at all. With the exception of SAM, the cadets are all old enough to be undergrads or grad students but the series resolutely treats them like a pack of unruly grade schoolers. Caleb's in his early 20's, but his behavior's really childish and the faculty treat him like he's an annoying tween.

i personally can't accept parts swapping or additional support parts hehe. [i sold my copy of bandai DX-YF 21, i try to accept it but i just can't do. That's why i start this project, i don't have another 10yrs wait for another version of YF/VF 21/22.]

@Chas I'm still outa reactions, but your Bronco looks awesome! Just say it was painted for after the time bomb went off😁 Thanks for sharing that RARE build with us! @tekering Thank you, I appreciate it! I think that's a good idea with the head lenses. I think white is good; it looks anime accurate actually! That Tomcat is cool! Almost looks like it is a ducted fan model! - MT

I think most of us would be fine with some part swapping on the VF-22 to make the legs work, unless you figure out some way to get them to collapse.

I saw a few clips and yikes. Who is the series made for? The people that go to a West Hollywood farmer's market?? Anyways, I've dropped out of Star Trek since the Picard series. This crap is also killing my love for the original series and movies.

Haven’t seen the show, but some people have posted awkward clips of the captain having a hard time trying to get comfy in a chair. There’s only like two stand these clips last for several minutes. The Riker maneuver clips for all of tng didn’t last that long. Star Fleet really seems to have gotten desperate for recruitment lately

Oddly, it’s like some race of robots found a world that was more fantasy based and they armored up and learned magic. Some interesting extras like treasure chests and dragons and enough stuff to set up a shop diorama with all the extra armor and weapons and stuff
-
Was kinda wondering if they’d do that, but then again the last time they did a kit smaller than a mg, they did the trash bags. The old ones had rubber covers, so they have done other options in smaller scale before. All they really gave here is a silhouette, so I guess we’ll wait and see.

Diffrent devisions, différent stratégie. The HG line for the prise, probably sells ten times more then the Hi-Metal R Line, Besides it has to have more detailing then the 1/35 model kits. If they actually cooperate is another question? I think they killed their 1/20 model line since it might interfere with the HMR line in sales! I think they wanted to release complete units in the HMR Line at the beginning to show that that they can give the collector the complete experience, and not have to chase down expansion packs, which they are known for not rereleasing. I just wish they didn't include the base with the first expansion pack since this seems to be the most expensive part of that set! other weapons or side armaments would have been more preferable. I don't really like the bases that Bandai releases, the seem to be an afterthought! @Graham Have you picked up all of the 5 HMR V.O.T.O.M.S so far?

As it's an RG, it's likely gonna be small. So my guess is they won't use cloth covers and will just have the joint covers as stylized plastic joints.

Those garbage bag coverings are definitely not my favorite choice, but I think it wouldn’t be too hard to make custom cloth coverings using them as a base pattern. Still very curious about how they’re gonna handle this release.

Macbooks have the best out-of-box speaker tuning. I can attest to that. That being said, I'd be using headphones/earbuds regardless. I've been using a personalized audio solution (headphones, earbuds, all sorts of wireless styles) for ages now. Even if I have speakers, I just prefer having my noise blasting straight into my ears these days and blocking out the surrounding space. -
This things seems to be taking forever to get to BBTS. Amazon lists this as supposed to be released on 1/20/26, so hopefully BBTS will get this soon. I will be upset if Amazon gets this out before BBTS. Twich

@MechTech, you've greatly elevated that ridiculous Shin Musha with a thematically-relevant display case. Remarkable! 👍 Nice save on the Bronco II, @Chas. is that mechanical arm a part of the kit? I'm happy with the color scheme I've settled on for the Bioroid worker, but I don't like the look of the lenses... I couldn't get a painted resin surface to look transparent, so I decided to try a more cel-shaded approach. Maybe I should use silver instead of white...? Oh no, it's merely a static toy, with an ugly stock paint job and infamously fragile landing gear. Mine had to be hung from the ceiling after repainting. It didn't even come with pilot figures, so I had to customize my own... Nonetheless, you won't find a loose one under $1000 USD... or $2000 in its original box!

Definitely curious about this one not sure if it’s gonna use that garbage bag style plastic covering or if it will just be stylized plastic joints as kind of a redesign like they did with evangelion.

Now that i had the Predator Helios Neo 14 for a week. The trackpad is amazing. Even with the reseated yoga trackpad, the helios is far and away way better. Tech Youtuber "Just Josh" really likes the trackpad as well as this laptop. The battery life is good. I got about 8 hours time doing various tasks, web service and office work unplugged, screen half the brightness. The keyboard is easy to type on. The worst part of the laptop is the speakers are small. There is no bass. I had spend several hours boosting the audio doing some combination of EQ and using a software to trick the audio to get the speakers loud. One of the common problems is the low volume when gaming and disabling spacial audio solves this issue that plagues the helios 16s version as well as others in the Acer lineup. Finally after 4 hours got the audio tuned to my liking. The Ultra 7 155H runs cooler than an ultra 9 185H, dead silent doing office tasks, web surfing or watch videos and fan noise is mild to medium when gaming is pushing hard. not obnoxious and can easily hear the audio over it. In terms of gaming, the 4070 is a bit stronger than the 2021 Legion 7 w/ rtx 3080 mobile card that fried up. Been testing it with Cyberpunk bench mark at 2560 x1600 94 fps with no raytracing and no frame generation. With DLSS quality no Raytracing. no frame generation, I can get 79 fps with textures setting all on high. Raytracing turned on at 1440p, 47 fps, w/ raytracing lighting on ultra , no frame generation. 93 fps framegen on. 70 fps with Ray Everything Fully on with Frame Gen on at 2560 x 1600 For $565 this was a steal.
