  1. Past hour
  2. Hah! @tekering I just watched that movie today!
  3. Getting back into 1/6 and I bought this version of the CW Batwoman from Soosoo Toys.
  4. Awesome news! Looks great. Just pre-ordered. Still wondering if they're going to do VF-1J Max/Miria in fighter and/or battroid.
  5. Also good to keep in mind that the number of crew can change depending on mission needs. So I imagine that it could fluctuate easily between 200 and 400 due to requirements. In fact, if they do 'de-evolve' the Enterprise before Kirk gets it, then the larger crew could be required because of less automation, which then of course would require more, smaller, crew quarters to fit them all. I really hope they don't do that, as I do love her current look! As to this weeks episode, I'd call that another good one in the can! I don't usually like 'thru the viewfinder' episodes but this was done really well. Questions raised on what Starfleet is about, the crews dedication to the ultimate mission and how far to go when assisting another race caught in a terrible war. The second half of this season has turned out really well so far!

  7. Man, glad I was able to get a PO in on HLJ.

  9. Yeah, some of those deliberately-alien spellings are downright awful. Probably not. The original Super Dimension Fortress Macross series had a much wider array of sizes for Zentradi soldiers, but it wasn't super great at keeping them in scale with each other. A lot of the background Zentradi seen near VF-1s tended to get drawn around 12-13m tall instead of the 10m they were supposed to be. They were much better about it in the movie. They run the gamut from Milia at a humble 8.55m all the way up to Vrlitwhai at 13.54m and Boddole Zer standing a full head taller than him (~16-17m?). Scale 'em down to Human size the same way they do Milia, and the Commander-type Zentradi are still giants. Quamzin would be 237cm (7'9"), Vrlitwhai would be 271cm (8'11"), and Boddole Zer would be around 320cm (10'6"). If basketball is still played in the Macross universe, there has to be a Zentradi-only league because that's just plain unfair.
  10. One of the many details that changed between the first Star Trek pilot "The Cage" and the series proper was the size of the Enterprise's crew. Captain Pike mentions the Enterprise's crew as being 203 people (excluding himself) in "The Cage". When the subject of the size of the Enterprise's crew comes up in the first season episode "Charlie X", Captain Kirk's Enterprise is said to have a crew of 428. They stuck with that number for the rest of the series and most of the movies. Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds ran with the numbers from that original series pilot episode as the normal crew of the Enterprise during Pike's era.
  11. Hahaha I still need to build the Max and Focker kits. Maybe they can play rock paper scissors ?
  12. @Papa Rat What a great looking build and pose! He looks like he's all outta bubblegum.
  13. That kinda stuff was definitely pretty common at the classic swap meets. Couldn’t confirm if it was a bootleg or not, because they also had plenty of ligit items there as well. But if you say they loved going there, I can pretty much guarantee that that’s where they at least picked it up from.
  14. Thanks for clarifying that; sometimes the names can drive me up a wall! Ah, okay. So Britai wouldn't be tossing them around like he did during SW1. Ok; what threw me was how much shorter than Britai he was.
  15. I echo what Big S said. Such a fun build, highly recommend!
  16. Wait... they crammed two hundred more people onto Kirk's Enterprise? O.O Did he date all the women aboard and run out or something?! 🤪
  17. I bet it was a swap meet! My parents loved swap meets, and did get me some giant Transor Z/Mazinga toys from swap meets. Coulda all been bootlegs too (including my Srungle) as far as I know.
  18. I kinda forgot about the Aoshima add-ons. Did you get a chance to finalize the windshield change on the Blowsuperior? . . . Personally, I wasn’t too bugged by Sentinel’s choices with the Ride Armors, except for hot pink Houquet and the overly-busy HUD lines on the visors.* But it’s not too difficult to address those issues (and change the color on two of the bikes’ windshields too): * I also would have preferred a slightly lighter blue for Yellow. But it’s not a deal-breaker.
  19. Odd items like that would occasionally pop up a swap meets or were gifted to me by someone that went to the swap meet. The 80’s swap meets were kinda exciting with the oddities that showed up. Never saw one of these toys though, but I remember a transforming Orgus toy way before I ever knew what Orgus was
  20. That's awesome, thanks for sharing! The question remains tho... who is John Gaydos?? lol
  21. Includes his coffee, but no doughnut. This is gonna be a bad cop bad cop situation for sure
  22. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I had too much fun just doing my test fitting with it and seeing the range of motion of the joints. A few loose bits, but a spot of glue can easily fix those
