I've always wanted to reproduce this dynamic pose, and Sentinel has now made it possible... ...with the help of a few 3D-printed accessories, of course. 😉

You know, the more I think about the He-Man crossover, the more disappointed I am with it. I know this is being done on Mattel's side as He-Man but also Trvansformers instead of Transformers but also He-Man... but there's a lot of vehicles in He-Man and a Land Shark that turned into Skeletor would be frickin' awesome. Pair that off with a Wind Raider that becomes He-Man and you've got a hit on your hands. Or better yet a triple-changer that turns into Prince Adam as well!- 17430 replies

I'll completely pass on the bayverse figures, there's zero appeal from me on that. Sort of irked that we're doing a new Seeker mold, worse off that we already got an 86 SS Starscream and now here we are with a new mold starting with TC. I'm fairly happy with the figures I got so I'm going to entirely pass on this. Combaticons look good, Brawl, and Blastoff keeping fairly close to their G1 counterpart. Windcharger, Sureshot, they look good. Big Convoy will probably be a buy, the Hotwheels collab I think I'll probably get, I'm pretty sure I mentioned it some time back but they would work REALLY well on the G2 shelf.- 17430 replies

Marvel Studios Fantastic Four: First Steps
Duke Togo replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I stopped watching Marvel productions after BP2 (not because of that movie; I was just burned out), but from everything I had seen before that, this is the most "comic book" movie they've made. You would not confuse this for even mildly-serious science fiction. If I had one real criticism of the movie, it would be it did not lean into the aesthetic and vibe hard enough. It goes half way to that earlier-era, Donner Superman earnestness and innocence, when I feel it should have gone full-out.- 118 replies

"We will broaden the Brands offerings by expanding the choice of characters and creating unique variations" Havent they been fleecing fans with their unique variations of releasing the same figure in a different color for a while now?

Hey, yo yo yo. If you have a 3D printer or have access to one through a friend or whatever, CHECK THIS OUT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTf9VV-JAv8 This guy designed replacement parts for the top command deck as well as the engines. I bought the STL files from him about a year and a half ago but I have yet to get these printed for me. Unfortunately, he never got around to making a replacement for the bulb below the bridge section, nor did he create the disruptor cannons on the underside of the forward parts of the wings. But his price is pretty reasonable and your kit will look a lot better than out of the box, so I highly recommend it.

Yeah, those bodies are just copy paste unfortunately. At least the color on the ace is getting a little closer to the proper one, still a bit off though. And they’re still awkwardly showing the elbow pads in the wrong spots. after rewatching the frontier episode with Temjin trying to start a revolution, I noticed a few of these guys running around and they did have a different color. Maybe they’ll do something closer to that one day. Also the elbow pads were on the back of the arms in that episode as well for them. I honestly didn’t notice these guys were in Frontier many years ago and I assumed they only had movie style body armor, but realized they were there just the other day while doing a rewatch on Hulu

Very disappointing reveals for TVC. The gunship is definitely an improvement, but not enough to justify the US$450 price.

I agree. The movie isn't bad in any way by any means in regards to acting or effects, but the plot? I was bored out of my mind watching it. So damn predictable and it doesn't help Galactus is a garbage tier one note villain. Silver Surfer was very meh.- 118 replies

If referring to any transparency, then unlike the 0S, the VF-2SS’s a very solid white.

Well, I suppose the Bayformer fans are due some figs in SS. We G1 fans have been eating well, so I can't complain. G1 isn't going anywhere, either, as it's their biggest money-making theme in Transformers; the Bayformers fans can moan all they want but dems da facts. I find that particularly delicious. I'm sure, given Bruticus, that Defensor will undoubtedly be on deck for next year. If they're going to continue releasing two combiner teams a year, then it's anybody's guess which of the three remaining combiners they'll tackle. Whichever they choose, there are plenty more G1 figs coming. I've only seen elsewhere that Takara has an agreement to do updates of the old 1/55 Takatoku toys, which means potential Jetfire, Roadbuster, and Whirl figs. If so, stuff's happening that I never thought we'd see due to all the licensing issues. It's tentatively exciting.- 17430 replies
