    What sucks is I bet something like $17-$18 of that $23 additional charge was probably DHL's processing fee. The tariff itself was probably like $5.

    From the picture above, it sure looks like your copy is affected. The issue is that the shoulders are swapped. The back of the shoulder is what has the longer angled edge on the outside next to the 101. On the front, this same edge is shorter. The fronts of the shoulders in your pictures look like they have a long edge. If you look at the backs, they should have a short edge. If you swap the shoulders, the short edge will be in front. EDIT: Just checked my copy from a US store and it's 'affected' as well. But if this hadn't been posted, I never would have noticed. Doesn't appear to affect how snugly the arm tucks in in fighter mode. Maybe the shoulders are canted at a little more of an angle when they're tucked in? Again, not something I would have noticed.

    Does anyone know about the Animedia issue. From 1983. That came with cards. I did bought another set. That's still attached to the cards to the booklet. Includes Macross, Catseye, Mospeada, and Orguss.

    Working on the thighs. Story paint is really helping me see how this project is progressing. i am really happy with this.

    Texture added and all primed up for some brush painting. This is the 💩stage of this build. Now I just need to fix a few seam shadow areas and the loose hip joints. The floppy legs can’t support the weight of the backpack jet thing. If not supported by a nearby bottle of loctite, our friend Bozune does a complete back bend or face plant. Oof!

    The tampo stripes are definitely mis-aligned on purpose, although it looks like the two halves that should line up aren't quite aligned anyhow? I think that's a separate issue though. Judging by the translation, and my experience with my bum hip, I think Bandai borked the casting on the right hip. It didn't work correctly, the joint is far too stiff compared with the left, and the parts do not like to line up. The lower part tinted pale blue is causing issues. Though.. it's hard to tell if he knows what he's talking about. I think the "scratch" he's pointing to is an intentional detail on both sides, so I'm not sure what he's actually trying to indicate. Also, to refresh my memory, I checked on my first HMR Fire Valk, and opened the second one I got. The second one seems to have none of the hip issues my first one did, so it's inconsistent at least.
