Those shipping and tariff costs are really nutty. Then the handling fee is just rubbing salt in the wound. Strangely enough, I'm glad there's been hardly anything I've been interested in buying for a while now. The tariffs have basically made importing things untenable.

I've heard that this is the best execution of them all yet, both as an adaptation and as a standalone work, so I'm interested to check it out.

I am not planning to buy a new monitor yet. I current one still works. I will get 32gb of ram and a 2tb ssd. I have a 8tb hd for data. -
One thing I noticed is that the head fin and crest actually rest in a cavity when in fighter mode. When extending the body from fighter mode, make sure to raise the head first. Otherwise, the head can get scraped/chipped/dented. I think this is also why the neck cover has a gap in Gerwalk mode. Because the main body is slightly extended and pulled away, the head can't sit properly in its cavity, causing the neck cover to split.

Aliens and Alien 3 are great examples. The crappiness of A3 (or any of the other piles of garbage after) in no way diminished Alien or Aliens. Does anyone here think the original Superman movie is in any way diminished by the dreck of Superman 3?

My kids are watching Stranger Things for the first time. While watching it in the background it made me realize the real villain is Mike. He is such a miserable self prick of a character. Don't know how 11 or his pals can stand him. -

It seems like Japan Post has not resumed service to Canada yet, there's probably nothing a store can do about it. I've got packages waiting to go out from Amiami too and they're still just held at the warehouse. Japan Post may be waiting until the strike situation is fully ended, since it's sort of still going with rotating strikes even though most deliveries are moving along now.

Also of the mind that you shouldn't let a sequel destroy your love/fun of the original. To also use the Alien analogy, Alien/Aliens are still great movies with a hopeful ending, and everything after that, esp Alien 3, was either a dream or just bad fan fiction. For me, the franchise ended when Ripley told Newt that they could both dream and I still enjoy those movies so much. The same for Picard or Tron. Tron and Tron Legacy, awesome and fun. Haven't seen Tron 3 (yet) but if it craps on the first two I'm just going to ignore it and keep the first two on my DVD shelf. And if people did not like Picard, then ignore everything with those characters after All Good Things... I've heard enough commentary comparing it to just fan fiction level anyway. To me, writing off something you've loved for years just because a sequel went off the rails, as it were, is kinda sad. The originals haven't changed and I don't think people should let a bad sequel keep them from still enjoying what was, I'd assume, the very best of what it had been. Just my two pence.

I acquired some of the harder to find CMs from Surugaya JP around 3 years ago. The green WF pilot figure does pop up, wouldn't say occasionally, but I've seen it 3-4 times in the roughly 1 year period I was stalking their page. WF Minmay even less than that, and I was internally debating for a long time when it did show up in-stock, but in the end I didn't pull the trigger since it didn't look different enough for me. Perhaps I should have...

Thanks for the update @Actar, appreciate it. @Mommar good to know that the gun can be level after all. Truth be told, as long as gun's slant more or less no worse than the current DX YF-19, I'm not so bothered by it either. Unless it's a big ass gun like the 29 or the 30, which will make them stick out more lol. It was just more of a growing curiosity since we are comparing closely what are improvements & changes that are being brought to this mold vs the DX YF-19 & Yamcadia's Kai.

AE is only giving me the expensive DHL shipping option here in Canada because of the Canada Post strike. But the strike is over so I'm trying to get them to ship EMS instead. DHL from AE is very expensive and on top of that I have to pay a DHL border fee and taxes when it gets here. AE is asking for over 15,000 Yen for DHL shipping and when it gets here I will need to pay another $20+ for their border fee plus the tax on what AE declares the value to be. AE under-declares which is why I use them, but there will still be some tax. I stopped using HLJ years ago because they seem to go out of their way to make sure you pay the most shipping and taxes possible. I paid over $90 shipping for a book from them and that was the last straw for me.
