lechuck Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) Hatchaka review for MB Dragon Scale Lancelot Albion Zero is up. https://hacchaka.net/archives/52122861.html Looks good, tempted to get it and pair it up with normal Lancelot Albion. On a related note, does anyone have the smaller Metal Robot Spirits versions – are they any good? Edited July 19 by lechuck Quote
lechuck Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I guess the rest of the Gundam 00 gang has been pushed back to 2080 now. 😄 Quote

Raikkonen Posted July 25 Posted July 25 I really desire the Unit 00, but the potential yellowing on those white parts on such a expensive has my eye twitching. The 01 is a pass with that tiny head, and the 02 still has that slightest pinkest metallic red as it's base colour... Quote

Scyla Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Just watched the Gundam Wing 30th anniversary clip on YouTube: I wonder if we will get new Gundam Wing suits in the Metal Composite Fix Figuration line this year. My favorite would be the EW Heavy Arms Customs, followed by the Sandrock Custom and the Altron Gundam. Quote

I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon, Deathscythe EW/Roussette is releasing this month and then there is this floating around: Quote

So it's a size thing, and Metal Robots are pretty much more detailed Robot spirits. Do they have substiantial metal in them? Or are they another "HMR" where it's just the name? Quote
68whiskey Posted August 1 Posted August 1 7 hours ago, Raikkonen said: Can only one please explain to me the difference between Metal Build and Metal Robot lines? Metal Structure is the super detailed super gimmick top of the line Metal Build is the next step down thats smaller in size 1/100 and has great detail in both frame and accessories with a full alloy skeleton built in. Metal Robot is the next step down with the cool designs based off of gunpla kits. More plasticy , less detailed but also a lot more friendly on the wallet. It really just depends on which figures you want Metal Robot Spirits has a better/wider selection where metal builds are seen 2-3 times a year and Metal Structure is seen once every 2-4 years and costs in the thousands. im sure I left something out or if im wrong someone please correct me Quote
lechuck Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Confirmed, our favourite psychopath is getting another GFFMC release. https://www.taghobby.com/archives/869952 https://tamashiiweb.com/item/15537/?wovn=en Quote
68whiskey Posted August 2 Posted August 2 IS this a re release or did they add the high mobility to this GFFMC? Quote

Thank you. Yeah, the Metal Builds I missed out are quite expensive on secondary. Will wait for eventual re-releases. Metal Robot has my attention as I prefer the smaller scale and lightness on the wallet, but Gundam designs that interest me yet there. Quote

Apart from the upper chest, the rest looks like the previous GFFMC High Mobility (with fewer accessories). Quote

lechuck Posted Thursday at 10:20 AM Posted Thursday at 10:20 AM The good news, you have a second change at getting MB Providence if you missed out the first time. The bad news, it's a Club Tamashii Members release – so difficult to source. The only difference between this and the OG release is a new stand support for the Dragoons. Would have liked to have this option the first time around. Quote

Would have liked to have this option the first time around. I would loved to have a new color and markings scheme for the Providence not just a new base. This is right in the uncanny valley of variants for me. Different to what I already have but not different enough to warrant a purchase; I’m torn. Quote

I may get sucked back in to SEEED metal builds. Quote
