Falcon18
Valk itself is fully transformable. But once you put on the armor, it stays in battroid.
firefly
Valk itself is fully transformable. But once you put on the armor, it stays in battroid. Ok thanks, i hope because we see only it in battroid mode, no pics in fighter mode and parts separately. Regards
chyll2
Ok thanks, i hope because we see only it in battroid mode, no pics in fighter mode and parts separately. Regards there is no need for hoping. It is a re-use of the Yamato molds with the same underlying 1J version 2 inside.
Falcon18
Pretty much what chyll2 said. You don't have to worry. It's still the same 1J like it was from Yamato.
Valkyrie addict
They will probably add a stand and hopefully waterslide decals to justify and exhorbitant price increase.
Loop
I decided I will just stick to the one I bought with the separate VF-1J and the missile effect parts armor set. I really don't need another one of these for now. Edited December 10, 2014 by Loop
Falcon18
They will probably add a stand and hopefully waterslide decals to justify and exhorbitant price increase. Or add neither of them.. I'm looking at you YF-19.
Kanedas Bike
Just for confirmation, has there been an official announcement from Arcadia on price and/or included accessories? -b.
chyll2
Just for confirmation, has there been an official announcement from Arcadia on price and/or included accessories? -b. Nothing confirmed yet. The only thing confirmed, I think, is that it will never have gray goggles
Kanedas Bike
^Ha ha ha ha ha. I actually wanted grey goggles too, but not that big of a deal. They can however certainly leave out those TV clown hands, hate those. -b.
Sildani
Also confirmed, no launched missile parts.
ZDZIYO
I want then to include 10 stands maybe that can justify the price.
Gakken85
Has the price been announced?
jenius
Has the price been announced? No, but that is no reason not to start complaining about it. We might be able to back into the MSRP. Let's try: The Arcadia VF-1S with stand cost 16,800 Yen The Arcadia stand sales for 2,700 Yen Had Arcadia sold the VF-1S without the stand it should have retailed for about 14,100 Yen A Yamato VF-1 sold for 9,800 Yen That means Arcadia did a mark of 4,300 Yen or roughly 44% The Yamato GBP giftset originally retailed for 16,800 Yen Adding the 7400 Yen (rounidng) and you get 24,200 Yen as the expected retail price if a stand isn't included, 26,900 if a stand is included, and 51,200 Yen if they're going to include 10 stands. wmkjr
*Snip* The Arcadia VF-1S with Super parts and stand cost 16,800 Yen Huh? I thought Arcadia didn't sell the VF-1S with supers? Only the YF-19 had FAST packs or did I order the wrong ones? I'd say about 28500 for this one. Edited December 14, 2014 by wmkjr
Ignacio Ocamica
Have I missed something? Arcadia's VF -1S didn't come with super parts, so it's more than 10% mark up. I do agree we shouldn't start complaining about the price.
jenius
Ah crap... hold on, let me get back out my abacus and redo the math... Updated! Edited December 14, 2014 by jenius
wmkjr
From comparing the list prices on the Yamato's versus Arcadia's and adjusting for the price increase percentages I'd say it'd be about 27100yen before retail discounts and 24300 at HLJ. edit: Jenius did the estimates already and I didn't factor out the stands in the initial estimates. Gakken85
It'll be at least $200 no doubt. I think $250 on discount would be a safe bet.

You guys are way too optimistic. Arcadia will charge between 36500y and 44,200y for this. Without a stand or grey goggles or dyrl hands... Valkyrie Magnus
Easy pass for me since I have the Yamato version too, though getting a new Valkyrie is always fun to get. I am running out of space.
wmkjr
Okay, 36501 without stand, 44201 for grey goggles, and 47901 for the dyrl hands. Edited December 14, 2014 by wmkjr
spanner
An included stand is very doubtful and the price will most likely be very similar to the 19Kai bundle re-issue price..
aaajin
So, since it is now pretty much confirmed that Arcadia will include 10 stands with this release, pretty sure the price of valks will be tenfold in 1-2 years. Imagine the demand spike when people start to realize that they NEED to hook a valk on each and every one of these stands. It's a brilliant marketing strategy, heck they should hand these stands for free on sidewalks. Pls dont take me too seriously. I was joking too... troyness
I wonder if we'll get a PO at the beginning or end of January ? If early January , I'll have all my questions answered concerning : stand, hands, option parts. If late January, mild nerd angst awaiting answers for: stand, hands, option parts. Guest davidwhangchoi
that should confirm the type of hands it comes with. same exact thing as the yamato release. i doubt there's a stand packed in as well.

treatment
Yeah, it does. It also says 25,704y (prolly japan sales-tax included). Still no stand and no dyrl-hands. Pointy-finger and fisted clown-hands, tho. I never got the original Yammie set, so I don't know if the old set included extra clown hands or whatever extras...
