I'm a great fan of Minmay, but I'll pass this time. It's a lazy design, nothing to do against the previous Minmay Guards. Hasegawa should issue the "Paris Act" Minmay Guard, with complete decal sheet (actual option decal sheet doesn't comes with all decals to make it). Battroid & Fighter version would be great. But this, it's just like an aircraft with a big tatoo.

I rather like it. It's clean and classy, bit of a contrast to the busy minmei guards and deculture VF-25s (which I also like). I also like the orange and white scheme. The signature next to the minmei graphic is a cute touch. Looks like some unique markings on the tail fins. Orange gunpod too. I will buy.

And yeah wants to see the 1/48th VF-1 and the F-14 with the funky paint job. Can't get enough of either of those.

I love Minmay, but not this color scheme, the original version is the best!!!

I like Orange on a VF like the VF-1D, VT-1.... but this scheme does not fly.

The orange makes me think of Hikaru's fanracer & flight suit or the VF-1D in SDF:M, or the VT-1 in DYRL - so there's a sort of orange element in early Minmay imagery as far as my mind's eye is concerned.

The art with Minmay is very nice but the colors aren't the best. Was thinking that it will be looking much better...

Seems the opinions differ on this release. Have to say I like the paint scheme, reminds me of a coast guard or test plane.

Call me odd, but I see the old Air Canada scheme in this. Orange on white... Looks pretty nice though...

I'm not a fan. Nice decals, don't get me wrong. But the scheme is terrible, and why a VF-1A? So not only another VF-1, but why couldn't they have done a VF-1D or Super o? Better yet, scale down the decal and put it on the disk of a VE-1...

By the way, what kind of figure is on the tail?.

Since is says "Miss Macross 2009" on top of the starboard intake and the thing on the tail looks like a crown, I am going to assume it is the Miss Macross Crown. Also, if you look really closely, the text around the crown on the tail says Miss Macross AD 2009.

I love everything about this, except the giant Minmay decal. I think the colors and design otherwise look great.

I'm just happy Hasegawa is still releasing VF's at all, though I'd widh they'd re-release the low vis..but we all know about hase and their limited releases
