xrentonx
So...is the Weapons Plus Pack version made to order?
joppewo
Yes and no. The Weapons Plus Pack is limited to just 2 orders per account (and Tamashii has stated orders for it will close once it hits the pre-determined quantity), explaining the limited stocks. On the other hand, the regular edition has a limit of 12 orders and doesn't look like it will close early. close313
The PO for the dash option set will start on 21 August http://gundamguy.blogspot.sg/2014/06/metal-build-gn-001hs-a01-gundam.html
ErikElvis
these metal build exias are a definite win.
joppewo
oh wow, didn't see the dash parts coming at all
F360
Wonder how much these option parts gonna cost , but I guess it doesn't really matter because I know I'll just buy first and think later.
Loop
I need to be on the look out, are the dash option parts Web shop or general release?
joppewo
Most likely a web shop exclusive I suppose. Would be weird if it got a general release when the main body is an exclusive.
Loop
Yeah I guess you are right, I did not even blink an eye when I found the weapons plus version. Maybe I should have read lol, but I was I was kinda late to the pre-order for this so I rushed.
anime52k8
It looks cool, but I'm still not a big enough fan of the avalanche armor to actually buy this, I'd much rather get a 00/7S reissue. Or even better, a Metal build Dynames and/or Cherudim Gundam.
F360
So does anyone know what time I should set my alarm to start checking on the normal preorder sites? 9am Japan?
joppewo
Just check back on Nippon-Yasan later in the day or tomorrow. Since it's a web exclusive, you shouldn't face any issues getting an order in (as it's made to order).

mog_kupo
Dont know if its the right topic but its a new line by Bandai and it starts with a Gundam Robot Damashii+Metal Build= Metal Robot Damashii 01.............Hi Nu Gundam
eggy99
It's an interesting concept. I haven't read any info about then yet, only pictures, so hard to tell how they would compare to GFF MC and MB line. So these will be RD with metal inner frame only? Interested to know what the premium will be over RD line. Has the potential to totally flop like S-HCM Pro line, which was leagues better than RD and actually 1/144 scale. I recently retired my RD Strike Freedom from my detolf, just because it was kind of ugly among the MB/MC 1/100 Gundams.
joppewo
From the pictures of the Metal Damashii Hi-Nu, other than diecast joints, it has much more details, colour separation and tampo printing compared to the regular Hi-Nu damashii. Kanedas Bike
So there's no worry that this new Metal Damashii line will cannibalize the regular Metal Build line (which is what I buy when I collect anything Gundam)? -b.
joppewo
Hopefully not, but it's too early to make a call. I personally prefer the 1/100 scale of the Metal Build series still. More close up pictures of the Hi-Nu (which looks pretty good). Edited August 23, 2014 by joppewo
eggy99
Same. I'm only collecting 1/100 now. I just can't go back to the diminutive size of 1/144. It's hard to believe I started with 1/200 HCM-Pro line and the change to 1/144 Super HCM-Pro was fantastic. I hope the MRD line doesn't cannibalize the GFF MC and MB line. As it is we're only getting select hero units. I'm still wait for MC Strike Freedom and AILE/Sword/Launcher Strike (or Perfect Strike). close313
Isn't this a similar concept to the Regnant and the Koenig Monster, just in a smaller scale?
joppewo
Yup^ I wonder if they'll re-release the Kshatriya as a MRD. Would instantly pre-order it

Black Valkyrie
Finally after a very long time, RD Gundam MK II. , the last time I bought a Gundma MK II was the EMSIA in 2005.
Loop
Well this sucks, Nin-Nin Game just cancelled my order for the Exia Avalanche weapons plus pack version. I was still able to order the non weapons plus pack version elsewhere though, so I guess all is not lost. I really wanted the weapons plus version though. I don't think I will use Nin-Nin again for special pre-orders...

eggy99
I think I saw march 2015 (source: gunjap blog). Probably will skip this. They have to announce MB Strike Freedom soon! Also I cancelled my Avalanche Exia preorder with NY. Realised that 3 Exia was enough for me (normal, trans am, & RE1) Edited October 22, 2014 by eggy99
joppewo
Yup, the Banshee Norn will be released in March, close313 was asking for the date pre-orders open on AmiAmi etc I'm kind of tempted to cancel my MB Exia and Dash parts order over at NY too, feeling the Exia fatigue What's more it seems that you can't display it without a stand either... Scyla
Have they released a list of extras the Norn will come with? Or is it just what we see in the picture? PO not release date I think it will be easy to get a hold of. Regular Banshee wasn't difficult to get. I saw it offered on Amazon US for quite some time with significant discount.
