So, anyone who got bent head laser other than from HLJ got any resolutions yet? Meanwhile, after a long back and forth with HLJ, I finally used the hair dryer trick on mine. My head laser wasn't that much bent compared to others I've been seeing, but the stress mark is quite visible. Here's a before pic for one side. I should have taken a pic of the other side too, because the stress mark there is more prominent. After using the hair dryer, I managed to straighten it out quite perfectly. The stress mark on this side also reduced quite a lot, but I could not get it to completely disappear. Other the other side, the stress mark only reduced a little, so it's still quite visible. I'll just leave it at that, and won't carry on further in case I'll over-correct & get irreversible damage. At normal handling / display distance it shouldn't be that bothersome, and especially considering our eyes may not be so good now. Meanwhile, many thanks to @Actar for showing the way with this hair-dryer method.

This being a duplicate, I think one of the biggest fan on this forum @mjenius928 will like this. Got another copy of the Miria 639, and even though it's an opened item, I'm quite surprised that Miria in her wedding dress is a nice bright white. My first copy some time ago had very slight yellowing going on all around when I got it, and I always thought that was the way is until now.

With this issue, I'm tending to agree with theory that it's the blister covers that's been forced down at some angle as per what happened with the YF-21. With Bandai, I don't think the covers are put on manually, but with a machine - quick & forceful. Notice how the blisters are consistently tight & perfectly closed all around when we first unbox it, as opposed to say an Arcadia blister cover that's likely manually put on. Bad Bandai!

Air Fighters Collection #93, F-20 Tigershark. This is another bird that I think is the only diecast 1/100, or in fact diecast of any scale, of the Tigershark. Thanks to Mandarake again, for not overpricing this.- 680 replies

Earlier I was saying Moshow's bike look good, but now seeing this shot of Sentinel Stick's / Ray's bike again, this just look all manner of sleek! Gate's bike really turned out better-looking than the illustrations, and so I hope Firefly / Eagle's bike turns out to be the same. But then again, there's just been no progress on that front other than the early CAD renders..

Sheryl always look different across sculpts lol. But this one seems the most un-Sheryl like. Though we can use Kawamori-san's favorite escape clause whenever anything doesn't match up - that this is the interpretation of the actual in-universe Sheryl. Ok I'm confusing myself.

I thought to collect only the Player 2 colors, because I do not want to have duplicates of the SHF colors. But seeing T.Hawk, DeeJay & Dhalsim now makes it hard to resist, and I'm not sure if they will get around to making alternate colors for these characters.

They are most likely waiting for more stocks to arrive.

Catching back up on some of the diecast 1/100 jets I missed. Usually these sold out instantly even on PO, due to no one else having made them at this scale before. Convair F-106A Delta Dart.- 680 replies

Oh wow I looked up Anbernic.. such a great way to play old games from any system. I'm already happy to play emulators on PC, but to do it on a purpose-built mobile hardware makes me excited all over again. I think the Switch has really moved the posts forward on how we game, and now there's more attempts to do that with (almost) full-fledged systems like the Steam Deck & to lesser extend the PS Portal.

Now that the main schemes for HMR VF-0 are almost done, I hope Bandai doesn't abandon Macross Zero in this line and continue on to say, the SV-51. It'll be great if they surprise us with the destroids from Zero though. Sometimes struggle to decide which effect I like when editing the pics. Here's a couple of same ones as above but with an additional layer of texture.

For a heavily re-interpreted item, this Moshow Cyclone has made the transition from grey prototype to colour in both modes much better than say, the Unix Square Transforming VF-1. But the rider itself is the one that looks weird - face, overall body sculpt.

Well I'm just basing it on the HMR Regults, where except for the Zentraedi insignia at the forehead, all the markings and tattoos are different between the 3 variants, so it makes each of them slightly more unique & interesting. (Pic borrowed from Anymoon.com)
