  1. Many moons ago in the mid-90s I came across by chance and picked up a Macross soundtrack CD. The album contained tracks mostly from TV / DYRL / FB2012, but there were a few extra unfamiliar tracks in there which sounded really good and eventually I got more hooked to them than the songs from the aforementioned Macross titles. The album was obviously entirely in Japanese, so I would not know the name of the songs and only go by the track # for playback reference. I think it was only within the past few years that I found out these extra tracks actually came from Macross II, so it was a pleasant surprise as my only other touch point to Macross II up till then was the old RPG books. Eventually I watched the anime, and although it was ultimately average & falling short as a whole, there were still nice things going for it but I suspect it's mostly due to individual nostalgia elements rather it being a great story haha. Nice to know the Kickstarter for it is now more than a massive success.
  2. We can also see a very brief glimpse on the waist rotation mechanism in a previously posted video. On the 17 second mark:
  3. @m0n5t3r Nice that you managed to not use any stand for the CM's figures. The included ones are quite fiddly anyway, I switched some of them to using KO Tamashii Stage Act stands. Are the VF-1s on Yamato Mighty Block stands?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I sold my duplicates of VF-19 Advance & YF-19 FS, but seeing the buzz & videos of this release makes me want to pick up this release lol.. Coincidentally, I was trawling through early pages of Arcadia's YF-19 tread, and all the excitement & chatter back 10 years ago make me realize how Arcadia was such a trailblazer on YF-19's design, and how much of it was carried over to the DX VF-19 Advance and now the DX YF-19. Of particular historical interest is the implementation of the high-speed mode wings, and although may not lock properly on some copies (I personally have no issues on both my Arcadia & DX), the solution deployed was pretty innovative and somewhat outside of anyone's best guesstimate at that time.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Wow the eggs come with radiation I wonder if there's a way to attach it to the Arcadia SDF-1 PF ARMD, and do ARMD punch in blacklight lol
  6. Pop-up parade SF6 Chun-Li & Juri, Yen 5,500 each: https://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/15303/POP+UP+PARADE+Chun+Li+SF6+Ver.html https://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/15304/POP+UP+PARADE+Juri.html

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Watch Bandai spin the 'super parts' into being the barrier punch effect parts lol.. Not sure what it means by the 'crotch block' but if it is the red circled part, I don't recall there were any problems on that area in the previous release..
  8. Haha it was looking like the PO for YF-21 is coming up, but the pic just says it is still a prototype. What may be interesting is that, if the translation is accurate, it says the actual product will be different. No words along the likes of 'subject to, or 'may be'.
  9. In a twisted way I'm thinking it would be cool if someone made a diorama of this, complete with a figure walking on the sides of the capsized ship.
  10. Haha you got me, I listened to the whole thing then only realised who it was later.. Couple of years back I discovered Streets of Rage Remake, but what floored me was the remixed soundtrack. Although some were tinkered too much and are duds, many of the old memorable tracks really hits the spot by combining the classic key instrumentations with an updated touch and they overall felt like a very natural modern arrangement. For eg: The whole playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXXNiBF4C9hEfJE4gIQuv8UZNJ1te4wCH
  11. LOL! Yeaahh not too happy with the dust too.. Due to my very makeshift photography set up, sometimes this is the result when after wiping the toy, I am unable to recreate the same angle & lighting of the prior quick & dirty impromptu test shots. I processed these quick shots instead, and imagine the dust being there from Barricade patiently waiting for a long time for the time to pounce.
  12. Hiding in the shadows.. "To punish and enslave..." Waiting for the right moment to strike! Transformers 2007 will always be etched in my mind as a cool entry to the franchise. I liked their take on the Decepticons' aesthetics - still somewhat hominid but with otherworldly alien proportions, as opposed to the more conventional humanoid Autobots. Barricade here is one that made a strong impression as one of the bots revealed pretty early on in the show.

    Arcadia VF-5000G

It's not only quiet on the VF-5000 front, but they've also gone a bit silent on the other major release the Hargun that they've been previewing for a long time. Maybe all these re-issues they are doing now is really needed to amass more funds to take the new releases to the next level.
  14. Don't think anyone ever did. Even for the kits, outside of Moscato or resin ones, I think there is only the little 1/44 Bandai ones. @guyxxed Hope to see more pics. At end of day it's just everyone having fun with the toys.
  15. I get the impression that the current prices of Yammie VF-0 Ghost bundles reflect the demand for the Ghost itself which Arcadia has seemingly refuse to make.. The standalone Ghost is even harder to come by these days.
  16. Pew pew pew! Experimenting with software bokeh effect.. There was chatter last year that MCU's Ironheart took inspiration from the Q-Rau, and in some ways the resemblances do look like more than a coincidence... And this concludes the Q-Rhea Klan Klang picture series, she goes back to the glass prison after this. All in, had quite a bit of fun with this figure - the loose hips were a bit of bummer, but the tight feet & great overall articulation more than made up for it.
  17. This looks like a great figure! I'm late to the Figma Samus line, so the secondary prices are pretty astronomical. Eventually settled for a small Amiibo Samus as a representation even though I don't have a Switch.
  18. I did. It shipped nearly 2 months ago but it will be some time before I get them, maybe another month, as they are on the slow boat lol.
  19. Hats off to your patience with the hot water. I always thought the hot water / hair dryer tricks were only temporary & the figure would eventually go back to its original shape. The results look really good & now I’m wanting to try it.
  20. I have that Armored Klan as well. But due to its size it also just sits in the box on a shelf. Good thing it has a transparent window to peek through every now & then lol. Nice lighting, it makes everything look bright & vibrant especially the CM’s figures. Did u glue Sara & Mao to their base? I could never get them standing straight by themselves for long. Sara will always lean to an extreme angle, & Mao will straight topple over after just a few hours lol.
