I pretty much agree here. I don’t think casting has really been the biggest issue on remakes. Gundam did the origin thing and many other anime series with beloved characters that have had iconic voice actors pass have had their remakes as well. I really only think the biggest block is HG right now. I do also think that currently the people in charge still want to try newer content, but that doesn’t necessarily rule out something like an adaptation of Macross the First sometime in the near future. It may not be a thing in the next few years, but maybe at the end of the decade. I may not be around to see it and maybe none of the original creators, but eventually it’s more likely to happen than not at some point

Nice choice for an aircraft.

Definitely overrated, but I still want to see the new one.

I kinda liked it. It had some issues, but still enjoyable. And I’m with you I’m on the churros.

That opening makes me feel like taking a nap. It’s such a snoozer, it should have been the ending

Oddly the crew of Airwolf looked closer to race car drivers than military chopper pilots

I think the problem was that it went way off the rails and then took a wrong left and then found more rails to go off of and then caught on fire on the way down. It started off good though

It’ll be alright. At least the new one can’t be as bad as the trash that was Man of Steel. Cavil is a great actor, but it’s too much of a call back to the failed snyderverse and it’s a better idea to recast with the reboot

Too bad it’s not like modern rock, masks seem to be the in thing with bands like Ghost and Sleep Token or Portal

I’d love to see more of these experimental animated shows.

I watched that one a while back. It’s rather underrated. At first I was having a hard time deciding on if I liked it, but then I found myself wanting to find out what was going to happen. It was rather interesting to see how these people survived on a planet that had so much of its life being some kind of symbiotic relationship either for good or extremely horrific. Fired on Mars was another interesting one that took me a bit to decide whether I liked it or not. I hope Max brings more of these kinds of shows to their channel. It’s nice to see something different in animation

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I’ve recently been rewatching the old show and I remember the animation being choppy, but I don’t remember it being as bad as it is. Hopefully the new episodes will be a much higher quality- 1486 replies

The Eels were some of my favorites as a kid. I remember taking over the kitchen sink many times with those guys.

I think that’s pretty much my thoughts on these. They’re just up scaled six inch figures. That price is way too high for that.

To be fair, it’s a fighter for a glam rock star. The face is the thing that always bugged me
-
It probably won’t be as good as the original, but probably far better than the sequels and show
-
Or really really bad. All I know is he’ll probably have a particular set of skills and there’s a high probability that one of his family members will be kidnapped. That’s usually what happens in his movies, but I will say that even in his bad films that he’s great in his role

You’re not missing much. Each sequel went a bit more downhill as they went on. Although it’s always fun to watch Iggy Pop die in a movie. I always feel that odd surprise to find out about large amounts of unknown sequels. Sorta like with there being something like three or four Darkman movies or Five or Six Underworld movies and a handful of From Dusk Till Dawn movies

The now you see it now you don’t picture may be a privacy screen leftover from when this was a basic civilian aircraft

I like that clean looking Hygog. That’s one of those kits that’s kinda tough to make smooth with all the seams running through vents and such. The only nitpick that I’d give it is that the underwater stuff has the bars upside down, but it’s a tiny nitpick. Lots of great builds everywhere

That’s what Ticketmaster says they do, but it seems like just words

I’m with you there. I admire these figures and vehicles, but I have a lack of space and funds.

I feel like the presales for shows are a joke these days. They give the codes to everyone these days. Things didn’t feel as tough back in 2019, but it’s been rough the last couple years since things opened up again

Some people really underestimate Max’s skills. He’s great at piloting, great at video games, great with the ladies and great at alterations. To be able to make a jacket that fits such a tiny dude go over his 1-A in only a few minutes is an amazing task.
