    I don't think it would be considered a "perfect transformation " if you had to swap out the legs for different modes. Also, all the other valks on your display shelf would be laughing at it..

    I can't give technical reasons or comparisons,( those are forthcoming from those who know) , but it is well known the VF-4 was most optimized for outer space, over atmosphere. There seemed to be obvious reasons for Megaroad 0-1 to need these designs. While it still probably had plenty of VF-1's aboard.

    Yep. Tis true. Imagine how cool (and not cute) it would have been if ROTJ took place on Kashyyyk.. So it's just Lando, Chewbacca, C-3PO & R2D2 now.. everyone else is dead..

    Good point about the battery size, this isn't a lightsaber build,lol. This particular tamiya putty sands completely smooth and is easy to work with. It seems to bond fine to everything, no flaking or separating. Though I haven't tried that many different materials or resins. It does begin to set a little quickly once it's exposed to air, so there's no dallying around or icing the cake with this stuff. Which I'm pretty accustomed to at this point. So I'm pretty happy with the product.

    I never thought there was a direct connection to the Maya of Mesoamerica ever portrayed . At best something left up to the viewers imagination. Other themes and cultures have certainly been borrowed in Macross, without drawing a direct line to them. Having said that. As many know, the Maya were VERY concerned with astronomy and their place in the cosmos. Their astrological predictions were uncanny, and their use of Geomancy was very evident in city planning and temple layout. There could have easily been a believable connection to the Protoculture in the Macross world.

    I personally really love ALL the recon variants . I've sworn off buying anymore 1/60's but i cant seem to let go of my DX RVF-171 or RVF-25. And i have the elinter seeker faithfully in HMR & 1/72.. I only have the Messer and Mirage. VF-31 , but if it were a choice between the S & the E.. as much as i love pretty man Arad and his flashy ride, I'd take Chuck because he rides a radome

    Releasing packs without re-releasing the 31-A would just be Bandai's style wouldn't it..(?) of course this means no one is going to buy them. ( except the few, the proud.. the Macreens..) So ,hopefully , somebody can draw them pictures and diagrams to explain how they should re issue the damn thing..!
