  1. Interesting. Indeed..“Entirely new” film.. Now we get to speculate until “20XX” ,( or 2020, maybe) about the “new threat” facing Walkure. Maybe the new threat is having a sixth member and losing their edge. Is this going to be “the continuing adventures of Walkure..” ? We’ve been hearing about another upcoming Walkure movie and it’s finally cemented. Nevertheless I’m a little disappointed (but not surprised) SK wasn’t able to tell an all new story . But the Walkure idol machine must roll on.. maybe it will be “mortal engines style “ and Walkure will go around gobbling other idol bands up..
  2. Thanks @Seto Kaiba that massively expands my understanding. I’ll be copying and pasting your response into my notes. About Destroids.. based on the “resists default translation..” thread , my current understanding is that those are catagorized into more army based squads. Such as heavy artillery or tanks would be. Is that correct? Is there a similar or overlapping system for Spacy Destroids ( ground to air, ground defense, etc.) that somewhat mirrors the Valkyrie system?
  3. Hello again Concerning my recent obsession with VF and destroid squadrons, names and markings.. From what I gather the following designations are as follows.. SVF- Fighter squadron SVA- Attack squadron SVC & SVFC- Composite Squadrons SVAW- Airbone early warning squad SVFM-Marine units CV-? VAW-? I am aware of the well shown SVC-8 Blue Roses. From what I understand, there’s also the SVC-113 “Starhunters”, and the SVFC-222 “Valkyries.” Are there other composite squadrons in the Macross universe I’m missing? And, really, what does a “composite” squadron look like? Is it still all VF’s ? Would they be squadrons made up of other squads who’ve taken such heavy losses, they’re reformed into SVC’s? Attack Squadrons are different in what regard from Fighter Squadrons?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

By “things” you are still talking Bandai DX YF-19? I only have the Bandai DX VF-19 Advanced , as reference. But I imagine it’s on par with the Bandai YF-19 in many ways.. I’m sure they have their differences, but..! Makes a GREAT display piece and swooshes very well. Very playable and holds up great after /during multiple translations.
  5. Interesting. That’s a 1/69 DX VF -29 Alto? And these are 1/72 wave models, below?

  7. Very impressive! I’m very intrigued to see this process unfold
  8. Roy’s going home to a pineapple salad..
  9. Is this a drop tank for a Macross toy or model? What scale? You could make it cheaper for sure, or you could just buy it..
  10. MTFBWY..
  11. What they said ... you gotta watch the show man..
  12. Great stuff guys, keeps the model building going
  13. Ya , the Yammy VF-11 was considered an over priced shelf warmer for a while. But it was one of the most line art accurate VF’s too. I loved the ejection pod and the super parts were really well integrated. (I’m speaking about the 11-C as that was the only version I had) More tampo and a bit more articulation would make this a home run for me.
  14. Definitely! ...depending on scale.. Did you try shapeways?

    Bandai DX VF-31

Good to know. I’m counting on My 31C fitting those parts as well.
  16. Very nice! Is this box art for the 1/72? I wouldn’t have thought so..
