    I think they omitted the landing gear from the prototype and that the regular release will have it... ... I mean how could the Delta Valkyries be displayed in my cabinets when they don't have landing gear

    Quick question are there waterslide decals available for the MG Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. 3.0? I really want to build an RX-78 but I can only find decals for the Ver. 2.0 at HLJ.

    I would go for it. I sadly passed on the first release and was bummed out when I saw all the video reviews. Such a nice transformation sequence and an impossible sleek Fighter-Mode draw me immediately to this release. The VF-4 also never caught my attention but seeing it put through its paces made me want it ever since. In my opinion the toy has its flaws like having no locking points for all the small wings and canards or missing mounting points for a gun-pod or missiles, the flaps that don't tuck away nicely in Gerwalk-Mode and the missing swivel on the forearms. I think a Macross collector should have a representation of the VF-4 in his collection because it is so different in its transformation and it shows what Kawamori is capable of outside the traditional transformation of a F-14 Tomcat derivate. It has a cockpit that stays leveled in all modes and its arms in a unique position. It is probably also the only Valkyrie where it is beneficial to leave the intake covers off all the time. [edit:]I forgot the small hands and the missing locking points for the inner forearms as potential issues. Also the conformal missiles pop out easily but this might be fixed with the reissue.

    Those images are awesome. Can you make a collage with all the four main VF-25s in this style and stitch them together to make a nice Full-HD wallpaper. I would love to have that for my desktop background (where since four years Rainbow Dash sits proudly) .

    I probably order the Unite Warriors version of Bruticus. I want my Spaceshuttle... ...I take that back I want Blastoff to have a faceplate. I still don't understand why Hasbro used a head with a mouth after they decided to abandon the alt-mode.

    It is not that Arcadias YF-19 reuses the VF-19 molds but that it has the same transformation scheme, the same part albeit in a different shape and I think one of the problems with the Arcadia YF-19 is that the designer couldn't free himself from the design of the VF-19 which leads to many of its problems. The hallow thighs, the same faulty design in the ankle joint and the gap in the chest are all traits that continued from the Yamato VF-19 design and hinder my enjoyment of the toy. With the feedback Yamato got from the VF-19 these problems shouldn't be present in the toy.

    What I don't get with the design of Takaras MP Transformers is the lack of consistency. I don't know about other toy collectors but I value consistency in a toy line highly. I imagine that has to to with the reason why I like collecting in general. They have to look need and tidy on the shelf and I'm sure my OCD has do do something with it. I've always imagine that this is a trait that many collectors share (correct me if I'm wrong). This is why I'm really baffled with some of the choices Takara made: After 22 numbered releases in the MP line they change the style of the stat cards from a G1 inspired grid style to a painted style with action poses. Why with MP-22 and not MP-10. No in the middle of the line the style chages. MP Star Saber has lots of unpainted areas where previous releases have at least some details picked out in paint. I know that the designer wanted a playable toy that is not prone to paint scratches but it looks unfinished and cheap with the bare yellow and red plastic. Again MP Star Saber (I hate it with a vengeance) has unpainted die cast parts that look like Takara took them from an old Games Workshop miniature and glued in onto the toy. No other toy in the line has that MP Tracks has a tainted back window but no front window. Why this inconsistency? All the other toy have them and it would be a great if the white head of Tracks wasn't that visible in alt-mode MP Bumble has red translucent back lights while MP Convoy has them transparent with no paint and the other carbots have them painted on. The minifigs they included with some of the releases are articulated so that they can sit in the toy but Raul is a fixed posed figure. Out of no where MP Laserwave has a light piped eye (WHY???????????). ... Basically the list goes on and on and on and I don't get it. It is infuriating for me but maybe I'm the only one that values consistency in the toy lines I collect. Is consistency important to you? I'm curious to know.
