    I would have been excited for this if not for that dreadful History of the World show. If it gets good reviews I may see it at the theater but will probably be waiting for netflix, amazon, etc...

    I have a feeling it is going to transition to a new series following Kirk and the Enterprise. Or perhaps going to movies.

    Heck, it is far above Return of the Jedi, which is where the Rot really started. Personally I have a hard time choosing between it or the original Star Wars as the number 2 film in the entire franchise. Star Wars has the benefit of being a phenomenon that really sucked me in to science fiction (*) but really doesn't hold up as an incredible movie. * I remember seeing an ad for SW around Christmas and thinking it was just another silly science fiction movie - after the following summer I never had that pre-conceived notion about scifi again, though there were PLENTY of garbage scifi movies post SW of course.

    All I can think of with that quote about ever expanding Death Stars is "Gurren Lagann", without the charm of course. It does give DisneyLucasFilmInc a direction statement, perhaps I can sue for a finders fee in a few decades (well, my offspring can).

    That has got to be the most memorable season ending yet. Looking forward to next season, wherever it may end up.

    You should worry more about some corporation doing so. A government will just come in and hook it up to weaponry after the fact.

    An AI controlled drone going "nuts" and needing to be shot down? IF someone is silly enough to hook up an autonomous drone with weaponry without an off switch then we could possibly have that today. An actual AI, nowhere near it.

    I just got back from the latest Mission Impossible movie. Decent film, anyone that likes the series will enjoy this one. The price for tickets though, $25 a ticket for a matinee. OW! That is up about $10 from the last time I went to a movie at a theater (granted, five years ago but still)

    I don't think I can handle any more stupid people doing stupid things. The plots for these movies take it to way tooooo much excess.

    Very solid episode, Gatwa got to show he has some acting chops in addition to happy go lucky. This iteration of the Doctor has some serious mental stability issues when really pushed to his limit.

    I've not seen the latest yet (Monday night when I have time alone to just sit and enjoy) but so far his stories (except that Space Babies one) have been excellent across the board. I've not missed the classic villains (yet)

    Considering the funky (at best) physics of the game I don't see any problem with releasing some new models as a "goth" version. They could sell lots of games and books and not have to change any of the game mechanics (just the handwave explanation of how it works)

    Ow! Even this reference is 30 years ago now. But very appropriate for a Miami Vice remake practically since it went off the air.

    It is hard not to be weird when the entire subplot you are part of make no stinking sense.
