rikiryou Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=10006 Well, I don't know where the topic should go, so if it should be moved, please do so mods. I wouldn't expect it to look this good since it's made from Lego blocks, but damn, that's some fine engineering they've got there.
isamu_dyson Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 did he managed to give or sell the instructions to make one ?
twich Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Wow!!! Seeing this makes me want to get the Yamato 1/100 Koenig Monster even more when it comes out. Whoever built this has some sort of skills....damn. Larry
Winkle Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 That's pretty impressive. I wonder if its fully transformable so you don't have to disassemble it to transform? Probably not, but still its pretty sweet.
GobotFool Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 That's pretty impressive.I wonder if its fully transformable so you don't have to disassemble it to transform? Probably not, but still its pretty sweet. Just look at the pictures man! That thing perfect transformation. Those intermediate transformation steps show it clearly!
gnollman Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Damn! That's badass! These people who do this really put me and my skills to shame....
wwwmwww Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 My jaw is on the floor.... I'm too stunned to know what else to say. Carl
BoBe-Patt Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Holy tamoly! The guy gots maaad skillz!!! I can't even begin to imagine how one would start up something like that. Man. I'd like to get instructions on how to build this sucker.
areaseven Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 That's the best Macross Lego construction I've seen in a long time.
Mr March Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 WOW! I like how the construction was made with very few lego conection bumps visible. That looks amazing!
jwinges Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Holy Crap! That is so cool! Me Want. Anybody know if he's selling directions and parts lists? I bet the parts themselves cost a bundle. At least $50. ANybody know what scale this is?
CF18 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Yeah Glagla is famous in making really cool Lego mecha. That thing probably cost US$200+ in pieces.
UN Spacy Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Whoa. This is waayyyy better than the spy pictures of Yamato's Monster (j/k guys). It's amazing what you can do with Lego's these days. Now when is this guy gonna start on da Andromeda?
Neova Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Seriously need a how to in the toys section. Beautiful!
JELEINEN Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Yeah Glagla is famous in making really cool Lego mecha. That thing probably cost US$200+ in pieces. He does rock. I still think his Ingram is his best work. He has a VF-17 as well that's pretty decent.
CID Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Yeah Glagla is famous in making really cool Lego mecha. That thing probably cost US$200+ in pieces. He does rock. I still think his Ingram is his best work. He has a VF-17 as well that's pretty decent. $200 is not that bad of a price for just a nice piece. Hmmmmm......
GreenGuy42 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I want the instructions. I'll drag my legos back from Austin to make this. Stunning, man.
Angel's Fury Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I think you have to pay for the instructions, unless I'm mistaken?
GobotFool Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 for you VF-2 lovers http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=13302
wwwmwww Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I think you have to pay for the instructions, unless I'm mistaken? To whom? Anyone have an email address for the guy that made this? If he's selling instructions I'd love to atleast ask how much they are. Thanks, Carl
GreenGuy42 Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I think you have to pay for the instructions, unless I'm mistaken? Yea, normally. Has he posted these?
JELEINEN Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Glagla has been described as the voiceless master. He doesn't post on message boards or anything. I don't think anyone knows much about him other than that he's Japanese and an incredible builder.
do not disturb Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 thats why lego is so fresh, you can make just about anything. BTW, someone was asking about the lego patlabor a while back and i think this is the guy that you need to contact.
