  1. would the reissue get the green canopy instead of the purple one? From some of the pictures the green one looks much better.
  2. maybe yamato has a set date planned out after their offical release date of the VF-4G and is waiting to see how many request of replacement parts or missing parts by that particular date before finalizing the part and amount of replacement parts that needs to be remake. Then there's also the chances of another full production run all together, and if they are going to do that or is waiting for someone to decide if they should do that, then you might have to wait longer for replacement parts since they might do it all together to save cost?
  3. I was pretty worry myself but my VF-4 from NY came intact and wasn't missing anything. But their packing is amazing (lucky) My valk was wrap up in 1/4 inch bubble sheet, and put inside a custom made box that has no solid side walls on the left and right side and and some Japanese news papers. But other than the strange fish and soil sauce smell on the outer custom box, the yamato box inside was almost perfect. And the valk inside too, still haven't transform it yet, too scared. Got it pretty quick too, 5 days by ems.
  4. Thanks guys for all the answers on NY shipping process and speed. Just check and it left Osaka so I assume the next stop would be NRT, then ANC , then Bay Area and hopefully won't get stuck in customs , and just have to pray the packaging box holds up. I would have selected FedEx but NY's FedEx rate is much higher than ems which surprise me because its normally the other way around when I order from HLJ. Time to dig out the old cm Minmay figure and other valks that being hiding in boxes since my move and put some of my transformers into boxes to make room for the in coming valks. Macross seems to be expensive then and still expensive now , the only change is more selections but harder to get due to web only releases .
  5. well, I finally placed an order for the toy yesterday, can't wait any longer as the price seem to be going up on every one sold at NY. But at least they shipped it fast, it's already shown shipped. But with all these stories of it breaking apart while you are transforming, I'll probably just leave it in fighter mode for a couple of days before even trying the transformation. Also for the people that ordered from NY, did you use Fedex or USPS EMS?
  6. I been off the Valkgon for years, and then I saw VF-4G, OMG, have to find and buy....preordered stopped, sold out, sold out, argghhhh!. in stock, better do it quick, the item is no longer in your cart. $#@*! ok, maybe Ebay. $499!? sigh.......

  9. I have some friends that don't like to drive, one don't even have a Driver Licence and he's 28 ) so I can understand why you might dislike this game. unless I was wrong and you enjoy getting your fingernails pulled. Everyone has different taste so what can I say. In GT or normal racing, you are in for the RACE and not damage or crashes. You are not suppose to hit other cars. Sure you can bump into the rails and other cars to cut them off without any damages, but where's the honor in that. I don't do that at all and I can still beat the computer regularly. Like all racing games it's all depends on your driving skills.
  10. "Another blow to HD DVD came today as BJ's Wholesale Club will bounce the format from its shelves in the fourth quarter according to VB, a Variety company. Just like yesterday's news about Target going with Blu-ray players, if Wal-Mart's Sam's Club went Blu-ray it'd be a much bigger deal, but BJ's is a large company on the East Coast (particularly the North East). BJ's will continue to sell HD DVD format products on their website." http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/27/bjs-whol...e-goes-blu-ray/ Yesterdays news about Target http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/26/target-t...ray-as-the-way/ it seems everyday another chain goes blu-ray

  12. Sony releases a new batch of visually impressive Gran Turismo 5 Prologue screenshots. OMFG! more pics here. http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=2901 And other news, Globally, the PS3 has racked up a total of approximately 6 million units sold According to Rose, Blu-ray is dominating the market in Australia, with roughly 80 percent of all HD content (excluding PS3 games) being sold on Blu-ray discs, rather than on HD DVD. "This comes in light of this morning's announcement that retail chain Target would only be stocking Blu-ray players and discs, rubbing a little more salt in the wound of the competing high definition format." http://ps3.ign.com/articles/808/808656p1.html

  17. you should check out the Sony Keynote from the current Game Developer Convention. You can see it at www.gamespot.com at their GDC section or their ps3 section, or just look at their recent clips on the right side. The "HOME" thing and their "mylittleplanet" looks very intresting. There seem to be lots of other good things/news from Sony too. Oh, and you got to check out Nintendo's keynote too, love that wife-o-meter
  18. I think it's one of those NO up skirt pic taking signs.
  19. erh, i'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about, but since it's Bandai Sunrise, i'm 100% it's ok. I saw enough of those in their Gundam series. I like this anime, it's on the top of my list of anime to keep watching every week. But man, does the new intro song suck donkey poo.
  20. lesson learned? Next time you can just print your own postage from USPS.com and just dump it at a mail box for small item such as a pilot. I had a similar case, I parked my car 5 blocks away from my home for a week at a spot where I see people park there for days and months with no problem. (It's was a residental permit parking spot which I paided for.) I later recieved a letter in the mail " Please come to claim your car" WTF!!? I ended up paying for 2 days of inpound fee/ towing fee/ and ticket. And the reason? my car was parked for over 72 hours so it's consider abandon and the city can tow your car away. And of all the days they tolled my car on Valentine's Day. Luckly I wasn't driving that day or else I would have been pretty pissed that whole night instead of doing other things.
  21. I found some pic for you guys. [attachmentid=40117] [attachmentid=40116] [attachmentid=40115]
  22. at the current auction price it's around $31 per game
  23. yeah, but the Akatsuki would require more work, along with a new design for molding those gold armor so you wouldn't see the cut marks on the completed armor. Man those Bling Bling sure cost alot The 1/100 is already at 6,300 yen, I don't even want to think what will charge for a MG version.
  24. more detail pic of MG Hi-Nu from gundambase, it just looks better and better. http://www.gundambase.com/community/news_v...mp;news_idx=490 [attachmentid=39831] [attachmentid=39832] [attachmentid=39833]
