  1. Past hour
  2. I think I saw this last week at bbts, but I couldn’t justify anything near that price for being so small. Looks cool though
  3. Today
  4. Lovin it so far. Got me excited to get my hands on the upcoming moderoid kits
  5. No arguments from me. Don actually drew up a ton of great concepts for that series, and unfortunately you get to see almost none of it in the actual comics due to Jae Lee's art style (which I've personally never been a fan of). Don's done some other really cool concepts I wouldn't mind seeing in toy form... like this 5-changer Megatron. Unfortunately, Don had a falling out with Hasbro and swore off working on the Transformers brand anymore. I don't remember all the details, but I think it was something along the lines of he came up with the idea for a bomber Megatron and pitched it with a story, IDW didn't want the story but wanted to use the design, then Hasbro made a Deluxe-class toy of it in 2013. Don's position is that he did the design, he let IDW use it (he even drew issues of the comic himself at the time), then Hasbro made a toy without giving him any credit or compensation. Hasbro's position is that it's their brand and their characters, and the minute that design was put in the comics it was fair game for them. I can't imagine he'd be too keen on Hasbro using his unpublished designs.
  6. Scored a Bloodsucker with a dinged corner on the box for a pretty decent price.
  7. There were so many better ways they could have spent that budget. (Referring to the Pose+ wing opening gimmick and fake struts).
  8. Superglue and baking soda didn’t want to hold. Had to step up to plastic bonder. Took two rounds (and some patience from my idiot self) but seems to be holding 🤞🏽.
  9. Thank you for the comparison. It quenches my thirst. A couple of them were sold on eBay around U.S.$600- 800.
  10. Came across this on TFSource today. It's about the size of the OG MR toy, 3.3", has a fair amount of metal parts, but it's going for $149.99. Can't see many folks dropping that kind of cash on such a small figure. Consider it BrickyRobo's version of Takara's Missing Link for the MR/Gobots toys.
  11. OK, yeah, I'm thinking of Don Figueroa's concept art. I wouldn't mind having this as a figure.
  12. As I was looking for some fanart of Mylene to honor her VA, I wasn't expecting a parody featuring Umamusume characters.
  13. Well decals, some minor touch ups and a wash are on. Tomorrow doing some chipping and the glossy lenses things under knees then calling it good.
  14. Image source In memory of Mylene's voice actress, Tomo Sakurai.
  15. I believe those are the little hood props to keep the wings open
  16. It’s the attachment for the Tread part, but the stand is originally from the Zeta (because it was a little stronger). I am putting it at an extreme angle. And I should have loosened the screws first. So, one factor for the breakage is: 😅
  17. Is that stand from the new Tread or from your Zeta? You would think that after hearing of several reports of this and some even requesting for a replacement part, Sentinel would reinforce this part of the stand or maybe even totally change the way the Legioss is mounted in fighter mode.
  18. Vega ready to ship from The Chosen Prime.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Much like Shadow Chronicles...
  21. I think I'll just watch the first two films and call that good.
  22. So... it's behaving like the xenomorph from Alien 3, Alien: Covenant, and Alien: Romulus then? Starting episode two... Alien: Earth is so incredibly determined to show off the various gory demises suffered by the Maginot's crew when the ship's menagerie of monsters escaped that it's failing to build any kind of tension. It was at this point that my internet connection went out... as if my modem were desperate to protect me from the remainder of Noah Hawley's inept assault on science fiction. Is Noah Hawley is a first year film student? Seriously asking. This is some dogsh*t-tier writing even by Alien's low standards. It is, in a way, terribly impressive that Alien: Earth is a horror series that has managed to make me this phenomenally bored. I can honestly say this is less engaging television than some of the episodes of Paw Patrol or Blues Clues I've put on while babysitting my nieces and nephews. OK, where was this technology at any point in the rest of the franchise when it would have been insanely f***ing useful? Was it really necessary to bore the already bored audience further with American baseball reruns? Will we get to watch Hermit enjoy some footage of paint drying next? What I'll say for this one is that it's really, hilariously ironic that they chose "Stinkfist" by Tool for the closing credits. One of the first lines in the song is: Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear This series thus far is a phenomenally dull D- by-the-numbers monster horror flick that feels like it was written by a first-year film student who just discovered what "symbolism" is and thinks he's being incredibly clever. The writing is so unbearably tedious and cliched that it destroys any chance of building tension or suspense. Alien: Earth feels like a middle school class's haunted house. It's all dark hallways, strobe lights, and fog machines. The monster can't scare or even properly startle you because it's apparently so deeply insecure it has to keep reminding the audience that it's there in the first place. If the alien gets any more desperate for attention, I'm going to expect it to start tiptoeing shyly out of the woodwork with blush stickers on and speaking in an "uwu" voice to ask senpai to notice it. Did they poach these writers from Capcom or something?
