  1. Past hour
  2. Right in the nostalgia Lots of fun puting these dudes together. Bonecrusher and Scavenger hands gotta be the crappies ever. Lol.
  3. Anyone watching the 3rd season? I didn’t know I needed a season of Primal to show me how Spear would go about life as a zombie.....apparently it’s pretty much exactly how he went about life during his undead days....LOL And thank goodness for that! Easily one of the best shows streaming right now....
  4. LEGO keeps tapping into more and more game and anime related IPs, but the majority hold no interest for me. One Piece, Mario, Fortnite, Sonic, Legend of Zelda, all popular but of no interest to me personally. The IP I wish they'd expand on is Horizon: Zero Dawn/ Forbidden West with more machine sets. Obviously, I'd love a Macross theme- that, along with Transformers, are my big wants. I just don't think the requisite popularity is there for the majority of the series, and of course, Harmony Gold has SDF:M all locked up as well as the VF-1, which means LEGO would have to pay at least two licensing fees to release a VF-1 set. There's a VF-1 design in Ideas right now and even if it receives the requisite amount of votes, I doubt it'll get chosen for production b/c of these issues. It already happened once before. I hope I'm wrong, as I want that set in multiples, but I've a bad feeling that it'll get passed over even if it exceeds the 10K vote threshold. If instructions weren't such a PITA to make, not to mention all the promotion involved, I'd consider designing and submitting a YF-19, as it and the Fire Valkyrie are probably the two next most popular valks and HG has no claim on them which would simplify licensing. Ghost in the Shell is another anime that would potentially deliver some awesome sets. Alas, it's a bit too mature for LEGO's younger audience. Anyone else want to venture some anime ideas that would garner some cool sets? I know Gurren Lagann will probably come up, and while I enjoyed the anime, honestly I've no personal interest in sets. But, it is popular, falls within that level of maturity for kids, and provides fodder for any number of sets. Honestly, I think it would've been a better pick over One Piece. I'd love to see LEGO resurrect Exo-Force, or something in the same spirit. Given how far they've come with some of the large, highly detailed, and well-articulated mecha in Ninjago over the recent years, a mostly mecha-based theme with a strong story to anchor it would be wonderful. I've also long wanted LEGO to extrapolate City into a sci-fi theme, with domed buildings, flying cars, and all the other stereotypical sci-fi trappings of a futuristic cityscape. I think a theme of that nature would be great fun with lots of room for imagination and growth.
  5. Today
  6. I was tempted to get the PE set for the guns... but that is a level of patience that I do not possess. LOL
  7. I had the PE ones back in the day and they were less than impressive, still better than the kit parts mind you.
  8. Mega Man Hyper Bomb.
  9. Next MGS coming in for me is the TIE Avenger.
  10. For anyone building these. Seems to count for any label from the sisters, fantasy, Aromred Core and whatever has the label.
  11. Then make some time to watch Turbo Kid if you haven’t already seen it
  12. @505thAirborne I bought those many many moons ago, in the hay-day of battlestar modelling. Glad to see them in use now, as they look much better on your model than still in their wrappings.

  14. Almost forgot about Spider-Noir too! Maybe it'll be a two month long subscription, lol.
  15. Just a small note to people who own the Hi-Metal R (STTC) that people might not have noticed!? But if you shine a light into the leg vents, there is a silver coloured grill visible that you don't notice otherwise! 😉 It's nice that small details like this are added although you can hardly see it! 👍🏻
  16. lol, Engadget trying to play Lies of P on it. congrats, hope it'll last you for a while. having a 5080 is nice.
  17. The chromed piece was a very poor choice. It makes the rest of the toy look much more unfinished than slavish toon-accuracy usually looks.
  18. All the ones from the movie and show will probably be done eventually. Just gotta give a lil time between releases. Also watch for how recent a hasegawa version is.
  19. I'll post some better pics in the morning, just a quick shot with the turrets mounted on. @SteveTheFish I'm honestly not sure where these originated from, besides being long out of production, MW member @Thom hooked me up with these. Rarely, but they do pop up on eBay from time to time, like 4 months ago someone had a listing, but I missed out. Curious about your Kakizaki VF-1A, any reason you're using 013 instead of 012 for his Valk?
  20. If I may ask again, where did you buy these? Is "Admiralty Model Works" another one of those "We only sell on Facebook" entities? I did a search on Google and DuckDuckGo but only saw links to Scalemates.com.
  21. Finally actually tried out new PC tonight. Seems ok so far, but gonna take forever to figure out fan curves. Out of the box it runs the radiator too much and is too sensitive (1 degree up from idle ramps them up a ton) and basically just idles the rear exhaust... Also, forgot how INSANE Edge is to start with, with constantly advertising "features". Have identified all main components except the PSU----seems to be pretty generic and likely the cheapest component. Non-modular, so it's a huge mess when you start digging and I don't feel like undoing the surprisingly good job of cable management the factory did, until I have to. Biggest surprise---everyone said they used WD green SSD's in these, but mine is a "T-Force G50". A quick google shows that to be surprisingly decent?
  22. Yeah. The gist from written articles on Engadget and Tom's Hardware are saying pretty much the same thing as well- you can get an Air if you need more power, but for most people who are doing almost everything in a browser it's powerful enough and built better than almost anything else at that price. I found this part of Engadget's review especially amusing... Like, imagine that, the one thing Macs aren't known to be good at doesn't work too good on the cheapest laptop Apple's ever made. EDIT: I ordered a Citrus one at Best Buy, but it won't be available until the end of the month. I'll sell my M1 Air to a buddy who's current Mac is the second-to-last Intel Mac Mini, recoup some of that cost back.
  23. I'll probably get this on sale or the next gen that prob will have 12gb of ram for the same cost using the a19 chip in the future.
