... wait, you mean there's some forgotten animation team out there that's still working on The Simpsons? 😶 Has the network just forgotten they exist and locked them in, or are they being held against their will? Seriously. I think the last time I spared a thought for The Simpsons was around the time the prior film came out... an upsettingly long time ago. Has it really been eighteen years? 🙃

Besides being the second worst case of anime magic (YF-21 being thecl first) bandai didn't even cared to modify the truster at the feet to match the VF-17, making it a complete reuse of the 171 legs. Even the yellow markins are too small. With shose skinny legs I doubt there is enoguh room to pull out the legs storage gimmick.

Oof The only thing to be learned from those sketches is that the 17's fighter mode is intended to have skinny legs. That and Yamato definitely threw battroid scaling out the window as far as they could when they made their 1/60s. Honestly, their 17 had weenie legs too. It just had a wide Keanu top. I also noticed the 171 still has one of the missile ports on each shoulder. Was under the impression that both were missing from all the comments.

He was orphaned at the age of three by a drunk driver and grew up in a juvie facility until he turned 18 and immediately enlisted and saw his multiple escapes from juvie as practice for the military. He has no family, no friends, and considers the military a legal excuse to allow him to just keep running. -

Hey, all. Finally back from my travels and just posting a quick drive by here of an updated markings version to make it more like a Navy plane. Also changed the sensors/crystals because the bright pink just wasn't working for me. 😉 A work in progress, but didn't want it to sit quiet for too long. I used the number fonts from the VF-0 as they are the most "real world" of the ones I've seen, and went old school on the Spacy logo, though the NUNS in grey could work better.

I did the switch shortly after my other post. I didn't really look at the instructions aside from the picture that was posted in this thread that showed which screws to pull. Was easy enough to figure out from just that. Didn't really notice a difference. The one thing I will say is that those hexagonal shoulder-top pieces do not want to go back into their spot when transitioning back to fighter mode. Feel like I'm going to break something. This has nothing to do with the piece that was swapped.

Half-way through the series and probably the most sci-fi'ey ALIEN story yet. Best since ISOLATION imho and I'm hoping for a second season too. On a side note this series reminds me of the TERMINATOR series where it expanded on the movies, deservedly loved by fans but was cancelled prematurely too.
