    I'll admit, I have no idea what this is meant to mean. 🤔 Well, we know a bunch of the 90's Star Trek production staff were anime fans... they dropped a fair amount of references to Dirty Pair, a few lowkey references to Macross and used Japanese model kits in kitbashes fairly liberally, etc. It would not surprise me. Then again, considering Star Trek: Discovery's mirror universe arc(s), it would not surprise me if the current Gen X-heavy production staff are big fans of another and much darker sci-fi franchise with an even more profound fetish for gold leaf: Warhammer 40,000.

    Yeah, 1/60 for the Legioss will definitely be tiny. Displaying it with the HMRs might be okay from afar but when you focus on the cockpit and pilot... just like how it's weird for me when the I put my Riobot Iota side-by-side with the 3Zero VF-1S in fighter and I look at the pilot figures. Battroid/Soldier mode might be a different story. I hope 1/60 scale will make it more feasible to produce different versions of the Tread. Still wondering what that "reason" is and the details behind it. I hope it's more Mospeada or Genesis Breaker related instead of Robotech.

    I asked Alexa earlier, but I double-checked and she was off by about a half an inch both ways. Regardless, I think that puts the Alpha/Legioss somewhere around tall Deluxe or short Voyager. I was never into the second and third arcs of Robotech or Mospeada, I just think it's a cool design. If the price isn't too bad I'll get one and stick him with my Transformers.

    all valid points. The gold armor was... it was funny (hilarious AF) in the singing episode... but seeing that as away attire, i swear someone on the production staff are closeted fans of FIVE STAR STORIES, so much gold.... Oh I leveled up. Does becoming a Pineapple Eater mean i have to start making my Dex saves more often?

    Due to the smaller size, it’s actually tempting for me. I’m at a bit of a space issue and smaller items are a bit of a better option right now

    The next Hot Wheels Collab will be in 2026, and it'll be Twin Mill II. Which, after I Googled it, is more different than Twin Mill than I figured. Y'know how everyone's mad that Starscream's in that Anniversary capsule? So's Prowl. We're supposedly also going to get a box set of all three Insecticons. Finally, looking all the way ahead to 2027, in time for the 20th anniversary of the first Bay film, we're going to get a new Leader-class TF1 Optimus. Brand new mold.

    Crunchyroll has periodic sales, though it's anyone's guess when such a sale might happen aside from the usual times of year like Black Friday. Part of the "sale" was the membership discount, though. You can get that part anytime as long as you're a member, though the percentage depends on the type of membership you have.

    @wm cheng I did a test fit on the VE-1 I got for my birthday a month ago. My wife and kid know what I like. ♥️ Anyway, I have been focusing on old vintage kits mostly but look forward to jumping back in and getting it all built up this year. If you have a link to more photos or post them here I’d love to see more. What you have shared so far is beautiful and very inspiring. 👍

    Page 383 and 384. Lot of the posts from Friday afternoon to Saturday are missing. For some strange reason, some of the posts in Page 384 are repeats of what’s seen on Page 383. 🤷‍♂️ Weird thing is that the Mospeada posts I made at those times are clearly documented in my own personal profile page for the forum. But they’re missing from this specific thread. Very odd. EDIT: Looks like Page 384 finally corrected itself.
