    Just.. wow Bandai. Reissuing it and not including missiles like you did for the Hikaru re-release... and apparently not even bothering with a stand this time? I mean.. great for people missing one, but yikes. Feels like they're pushing the franchise along in maintenance mode.

    More progress on the Texas this morning. All parts minus like 6 little super delicate posts are down on the deck ready for painting. Likewise all the sub assemblies are ready for primer and paint. Now....mother nature looks like she's not gonna let that happen out in the garage for at least a week and a half now... I learned my lesson years ago with the Cat's Eye 👁️ debacle about painting in the cold garage. LOL 😁

    Bumble Bee is the only one of those movies that really holds up. As far as good storytelling, that’s where most franchises fail. Marvel, Star Wars, DC and quite a few others need to start with hiring good writers before greenlighting projects. You can get away with bad effects if the story is good. let’s hope the story here is gonna be good, because that will be the thing that gets me into the theater

    I've got the Big Mac Bot and the Fry Bot. I think I'm the original owner of the Big Mac(and just the Big Mac), but not sure. Did not expect McDonalds to reintroduce their not-transformers in AD 2026.

    I had one of the fries but was more of a dinosaur or something, the chicken nuggets, the big mac, the icecream cone and the shake. I would def like to try and get them again, I don't think I have them anymore. These and the Mac at Night figures were found memories for me back then.

    UPDATE: Slapped together the Naboo fighter from Star Wars: Then I got to thinking about it: what if I really made this something unique? SO, I took it back apart and stripped the chrome off the parts: Then I got to work: Still needs work (paint to cover the "clown colors, etc.); not sure which franchise I'm leaning towards, but I'd like to aim for Star Trek with this.     No, I'm not overthinking it. I just explained why that real world term they obviously did not bother to look up before using it in the story is wrong. 😉 Then I did a little bit of theorizing about what narrative purpose this never-before-seen-or-mentioned second Starfleet service academy is meant to serve. Back before the Kurtzman years, Star Trek used to have a fairly robust research team whose job it was to prevent issues like that by checking terminology, making sure that science in the series aligned to real world science as much as possible, etc. Their absence is keenly felt in this new Trek era.
