I just had the idea that it would be funny if Hasbro would scale down Omega Prime to scale more accurately with the mainline and sell it as a Commander/Titan toy. It wouldn’t technically mean that Hasbro sells a Haslab product at retail and they could max out their investment.- 17111 replies

No. Normal retailers sell retail products close to MSRP, especially during launch period. They don't scalp at launch or even during preorder period, and start antique pricing while it's still available at other retailers and second hand stores, just because their own stock is low but not clearing out. On the contrary, most other retailers would lower prices or put on sales to clear inventory instead.

Work in progress and it's awesome already https://x.com/JET4AG/status/1918144718132879862 -
So my retailer sent out my Round Mover this morning and DHL already confirmed a Monday delivery that's really fast! guess it helps to have rockets on the backpack! 🤣 Really looking forward to this version! and then the Bloodsucker in July which is only three month away... The line is definitely growing on me! And really liking what Bandai has done so far. Not much to complain about either! maybe the price a little... But at least they don't fall apart on the slightest touch. A great line, to say the least! hope Bandai keeps them coming. 🤗

@jvmacross Wow, yeah! That stuff should have definitely been the highlight of the book itself.

I first put them on a used decal sheet to pick up the glue from that. Then, I used Micro-Sol to make them conform (repeated applications, then a hair dryer on low for a few minutes). You can use Elmer's Glue if needbe (watered down a bit). And yeah: it's just the glue turning yellow from UV. Once removed (and new glue applied), they seem to work fine. On really old one, you might want to use Micro-Clear liquid decal film to reduce the risk of shattering.

No problem MT!! I thought the same thing, then I decided to test one of the "decals" that was just the copyright info for the set (Ertl seemed to be big on that back in the day). It turns out it's the glue for it! On that note: in a pinch, if there isn't much glue left on a used decal sheet, just use a little watered-down Elmer's Glue. And keep in mind: PLENTY OF HOT WATER when trying to get the decals to release and to move around. Also: mind where you have your Micro-Sol bottle. I just lost half a bottle when I accidentally knocked mien over, and that's all I had left in the bottle. I'll have to replace it in 3 months; everything is so expensive now, even white bread is a commodity. O.o

Your best guess at a fanmode is righteous. Well done! I'm not familiar with the animation or the earlier mainline release of these figures so I can't really suggest any alternatives. I feel bad for those folks whose bot(s) arrived broken or broke during transformation. But I'm exceedingly thankful for the folks who got theirs before me and put out an alert on the potential QC issues. I **rarely** transform my bots - hardly ever handle them out of packaging because I don't have any room to display them - but at least now I know what to keep an eye on next time I pull them out of storage.- 17111 replies

Even if it says returned item from Amazon (such as the DX 21 and other related Macross related items), you never know if it’s replaced with a totally different item, missing parts or totally destroyed. No one is going to do a complete check as it a high paced environment and everyone it in a very tight time crunch. Your well off getting it from a place that does a very deep and proper inspection.

The bonus booklet is nice, but most of what was in it was originally published within the Macross Perfect Memory book from back when the show first aired....oddly enough, the booklet contains what I was hoping to find more of in the actual book.....

Finally received my copy....it's great to have most of Mikimoto's illustrations collected in one massive book, especially the newer Macross the First era stuff, but the majority of artwork can easily be found in the very early illustration books from the SDFM/DYRL era and M7 era....I was hoping the book would include rough sketches, early renditions of the Macross characters, and the colored pencil drawings of many of his works....I guess I will need to wait for the Ultimate Mikimoto Collection book to be released someday....
