    So given that we have things like space metal in Macross, how are the overtechnology derived materials in Macross produced? Do they use terrestial elements as precursors?

    The Zentradi fleet at the end of DYRL? is supposed to be the same fleet as the one that appeared in Ep27 of the SDF Macross TV series. The Boddole Zer main fleet. Macross Chronicle's Mechanic Sheet for the movie's Zentradi ships (Ai 02A) describes the Boddole Zer mobile fortress as commanding a fleet of approximately 5,000,000 ships, so the fleet being the same size does appear to be confirmed. The Meltrandi World Guide sheet in Macross Chronicle (Ai 02A) says that the Meltrandi Laplamiz main fleet was similar in size to the Boddole Zer main fleet, though the Mechanic Sheets for the fleet's ships do not explicitly state the fleet was ~5 million ships.

    HLJ is weird. DHL does not have a handling fee that high. I've shipped by them from other stores and have had to pay upon receipt and it's $7.

    I assume you aren't in a position to just ask them to leave the package? DHL works well for me, but I have the benefit of living on a cul-de-sac set back in a difficult to navigate neighborhood with a large, imposing fence so anything left is well hidden and the location does not accommodate an easy getaway. ...I do also pay $50k a year for someone to watch my disabled Mother so there's little time when a package would be left alone as well.

    Was the Zentradi fleet at the end of DYRL supposed to be roughly the same size as the one in the TV series? And would that be taking into account the Meltrandi fleet or no?

    Ugh.. apparently I missed getting my delivery for the second time from DHL.. after specifically scheduling the delivery for monday after I get home from work... I don't know what even is happening with this service, but I honestly feel like the customer support rep was trying to gaslight me into believing they're actually paying attention. I got two email notifications today. One that my package was out for delivery, and a second that the delivery attempt failed. He just insisted repeatedly that it was never actually attempted. Sooo... I just don't know what to think. I'm just not trusting them, so I'm going to be home at the time they keep attempting the deliveries to see if they ignore my scheduled delivery time again. ANYWAY... about the actual Fire Valk, yeah. That's annoying to see they've got that issue with the head, but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Leave it to Bandai to fill the inside of the backplate with details that will rub the plastic.

    Those shipping and tariff costs are really nutty. Then the handling fee is just rubbing salt in the wound. Strangely enough, I'm glad there's been hardly anything I've been interested in buying for a while now. The tariffs have basically made importing things untenable.

    I've heard that this is the best execution of them all yet, both as an adaptation and as a standalone work, so I'm interested to check it out.

    I am not planning to buy a new monitor yet. I current one still works. I will get 32gb of ram and a 2tb ssd. I have a 8tb hd for data.

    One thing I noticed is that the head fin and crest actually rest in a cavity when in fighter mode. When extending the body from fighter mode, make sure to raise the head first. Otherwise, the head can get scraped/chipped/dented. I think this is also why the neck cover has a gap in Gerwalk mode. Because the main body is slightly extended and pulled away, the head can't sit properly in its cavity, causing the neck cover to split.

    Aliens and Alien 3 are great examples. The crappiness of A3 (or any of the other piles of garbage after) in no way diminished Alien or Aliens. Does anyone here think the original Superman movie is in any way diminished by the dreck of Superman 3?

    My kids are watching Stranger Things for the first time. While watching it in the background it made me realize the real villain is Mike. He is such a miserable self prick of a character. Don't know how 11 or his pals can stand him.

    Just ordered one from Mandarake at 25K yen yesterday and another new listing today with Sapporo. I also saw Arcadia with Sound Booster listings at between 25k yen to 30K Yen! Oh my!
