  1. Past hour
  2. There was only one of them. The studio found out doing the show on the cheap was not so cheap. Just about EVERYTHING except the actors was green screen and a few hand held props. The command room "set" was a bunch of banquet tables wrapped in green cloth.
  3. Even though it's just tape it's nice to see some colour on it!
  4. Just avoid the Scifi seasons. I think all the aerial scenes were stock footage from the real show and the hacked in live shots were terrible with even the lighting being way way off.
  5. Today
  6. Celebrate America's 250th birthday with... a lazy repaint of Airazor. 😒
  7. Has anyone checked peacock, I don’t have it, but I figured it’s the only major one I can’t check
  8. Checking the balance of the stripes against this 1/55 v2.0. Looking at it up close and from afar helps give me a better visual of the subject.
  9. For all the steaming services out there, there’s a good handful of series that you can’t find on any service. Or in RDM BSG’s case, it was on Prime for a short while, then got shoved behind an additional paywall. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. Yeah, I think that even if/when we see Astrotrain transformed proper, the robot mode is clearly not as good as Siege's. But the thing is, they fixed the mess of a rear on the shuttle, making it slightly better, and the train actually looks like a train with all it's wheels lined up. So I'll probably get him anyway. Likewise, I'll probably grab Shockwave. The colors and the remolded parts are a bit of an improvement. But I'm very disappointed that they didn't do more with him. Disappointed or not, preorders will be Tuesday for the figures. Monday for the Matrix.
  11. Yeah, but to buy digitally. It's not part of the Prime Video sub I already have (nor Netflix, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Hulu, or Disney Plus).
  12. Yesterday
  13. Was just rewatching the og Airwolf since it’s on Amazon now. The later seasons just felt wrong without Stringfellow. Haven’t tried new Knight Rider or Magnum. 2009 V was kinda lame, although Papa V is pretty awesome
  14. My Plamax VF-1D just went into the private warehouse at HLJ. Exciting I am out of country at the moment, so will see when I let it ship.
  15. It was from those Blood and Chrome prequel webisodes. The story was a little all over the place, but the dogfighting scenes were good.
  16. At 1/18-3.75" scale?... ... THAT WOULD BE HUGE!.. I wouldn't know where to put such a monster and it would cost a lot, but I want one...
  17. I must have missed that EP, or have forgotten completely. Was this while on Kobol? Anyway, I imagine it would be a pig in atmosphere.
  18. Very nice with the grime in the sweeps!
  19. But those scenes also included a dogfight in the atmosphere. The Vipers were usually the go-to for space battles. So, it was rare to see the Raptor dipping, dodging, and trying to outmaneuver a group of Raiders.
  20. Dang it! I know have a few pics of it completed somewhere. Must be lost in the ones and zeros... Anyway, here's a pic of my kitbash Viper before it was finished. 'd take new pics, but it has since been taken apart for a indefinite refurbishment.
  21. Nah, that was a chosen filming 'style.' There have been other shows in the same era, and before, with dodgier CG that kept nice smooth pans and shots. And if it wasn't 'good enough' then they should have gone to practical. Man, just imagein if they had made lit, studio scale models of the Nu Galactica, Pegasus and Baseships.
