I think that's part of what makes it fun among others. For one, it is pretty easy to transform, so it doesn't take a booklet to remember it. Second is the peg system, making the attachements a bit versatile. I'm sure as the other releases come, some of those attachments will be interchangeable, which even with the pilots and the bikes, makes it an easy toy. Not only that, the quality is quite good for the price. It feels like a solid toy, and joints are pretty tight.

I get the feeling that Brad Williams is still unhappy with him -
I bet the tv version will be on the way pretty soon. Other than recoloring the movie version and maybe a missile pack version, that’s probably the only og zentraedi mecha left other than maybe the funky scout craft, but I kinda feel like that fits more into a ships and fighter kinda category. I would still love a gnerl kit

It looks like the bottom of the motorcycle is meant to peg into something... anyone know what? There's no stand included.

This and all the reviews thus far are really shining a positive light on this toy, and I'm really looking forward to the arrival of my copy. Moreover, in light of all the positivity and seemingly great sales, I'm hoping they continue to do interesting things with it. This is, AFAIK, the only time that creative liberties of this nature have ever happened with the Legioss design, and who knew that it could prove to be so versatile with just a few changes here and there. I hope they continue to explore the possibilities including, as @Black Valkyriementioned, some potential Transformers crossover action. After all, Transformers could do with some decent jetformers, and the Legioss design is ripe for crossover potential.

Who doesn't love Peter Dinklage? It'll be interesting to see what his character is. Peter Dinklage Joins FX’s ‘Alien: Earth’ For Season 2 https://deadline.com/2026/04/peter-dinklage-alien-earth-season-2-fx-1236784922/ -
Yeah, good looking bunch right there. I sort of want to do the more colorful version inspired by the old kit box art. I forget the name of that scheme.

Looks even better in those colors. The white looks good, but I was actually thinking of doing that with mine as well. Now to see if anyone does the Kamjin colors

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!
Seto Kaiba replied to Valkyrie Driver's topic in Movies and TV Series
Well, I got my copies of Encyclopedia Macross: Valkyrie and Destroid today. Not a bad little collected edition, though as per the usual for these books the only beyond-series materials they're really looking at are the non-continuity FamilySoft games from the 90's (e.g. Skull Leader, Remember Me), the four main timeline in-continuity games (M3, VF-X, VF-X2, and 30), and Macross the Ride. Master File has leaked more into these books too. Now not only are they citing the VF-1 liquid fuel rocket engine power from there, they've also adopted both the VF-31AX and Sv-303 specs from there. -
Got my two copies today... an excellent collected edition. On a quick skim, little in the way of new information and there's some inconsistencies and errors copied from other books like the VF-19F/S engine thrust inconsistency from Macross Chronicle. "Cheyenne" is misspelled too. Master File continues to leak into official publications too, with several of the new additions being lifted from there.
