What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Dangard Ace replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Kusonoki Garden of Gods. Episode 1 seemed cute and innocent. MC is OP but is completely naive to his power and the evil spirits around him. Just wants to chill in his garden with his Mountain God friend. Let's see how long the gov't spirit squad takes before they start begging for his help to fight evil spirits. Snowball Earth - well earth forces are a bunch of dumbasses. To be expected I guess cause how else would they set up an apocalyptic ice-age earth if they were competent at the beginning. Still a mech anime so let's see where this goes. Dr. Stone is back. Reincarnated as a Vending Machine is back. Strongest Job is not Hero or Sage but Appraiser......is this one going to be cookie cutter too? Needy Girl Overdose. Never played the game. Didn't know there was a game. Episode 1. Mix of anime, marketing, real people segments, seedy side of idols/influencers. I have no idea what I watched. Gonna watch a few more. It's different. JoJo Bizarre Adventure is back. - Today

While I love the look of dull coat on these, my mind keeps thinking they should be gloss at least on these white parts since they have kind of a police car kind of aesthetic with the license plate and sirens.

Hopefully for the crew the noted smell is as innocuous as an off-gassing of some material. I suppose different materials react to low or zero-G differently depending on their molecular makeup, and I hope that's the case here without detriment. They have enough to worry about without their space crapper causing issues. Digits crossed they have a smooth, uneventful flight going forward. Hopefully they'll get some great photos of the south pole and dark side, with some Floyd playing in the background for ambience. -

Yeah that blue is really nice. Iām so excited to see this one completed. Bubblegum Crisis was one of the first Anime I saw back in the 90ās along with Akira and Appleseed to name a few. Need to have a rewatch

Here's a test fit of my Bubblegum Crisis 1:6 scale Priss sofubi figure. I'll have to do a little bit of touch-ups with a brush. I've painted her entirely with sofubi paints. mostly V-Color but also I've used Mr. Hobby Sofubi Color for the metallic black parts. The metallic blue color of her hardsuit is a mixture of silver, clear blue, and a bit of regular blue. It looks so beautiful! So I took a picture of this dry fit, then remembered to add that V crest on her chest. There's another head with her without a helmet, and I have yet to paint her eyes. I've employed strong magnets to make the heads swappable. This is one of those sofubi figures that will feature somewhat movable limbs.

@slide @derex3592 Thanks. Sheās a dirty bird thatās for sure. Oh and Derex3592, the ship is looking outstanding! Also when you go to test fit the Gundam RX make sure and trim down the pegs so you can separate the parts easier for paint etc⦠it was recommended to me and seeing as the fit on those kits are super precise you will save yourself a lot of headaches if you reduce the pegs by half their length. I built a Bandai LGaim recently and shortened the pegs, cut them at an angle and it really helps for disassembling @Return To Kit Formlooking great!

Just a few minutes ago on the comms: "Toilet is go for all uses." "And the crew rejoices! Thank you!" Ground looked through all the sensors available and didn't see any variances in voltage or current on any circuits that would indicate an electrical issue. They are obviously still looking, but they think it's probably not an electrical issue. Their current theory is it is an off-gassing problem from one of the materials used. A similar smell was apparently reported by assembly crew on the Artemis I capsule(we obviously have no idea if that smell was observable in-flight). -

Ascendance of a Bookworm S4 started its broadcast run today. This is kind of my make-or-break title for this season. I really want this to be a good adaptation of Part III of the light novel. One thing I will say for it is that we've definitely entered the part of the series where the characters start to become difficult to tell apart visually because they're all related and they're all following the same style trends in clothes so they all look the bloody same except for the ones with non-standard haircuts or facial hair.š¤·āāļø Still, I'm here for it. I can hardly wait to see Elvira or Hartmut start to go ham. -

I liked flying on the old Hercy-birds. They could be a little cramped when fully loaded, however. The worst part of flying on 130s was the noise- you have to shout to be heard, even when sitting next to somebody. Just really loud. I always get a chuckle when they show people on Hercs in movies and they're all speaking in normal conversational tones in a nice quiet environment- definitely not the reality. All of my flights overseas have been on military aircraft, although the quality of the ride depends on the airframe. KC-10, L-1011, and C-5 I'd rank as best- nice and smooth, very comparable to civilian flights. C-10 wasn't too bad either, although we were in seat pallets in the cargo bay. C-130 was ok- just loud with a lot of vibration, and the KC-135 has the aforementioned hot/cold issues that can make for a very uncomfortable flight. The 135 isn't too bad, however, if you can climb up on bins or baggage pallets above floor level where it's nice and toasty, perfect for a nice nap. As to Integrity and her toilet issue, it's an unfortunate issue, but the description of the smell is one of electrical burning. That's perhaps not as unpleasant as a urine or feces smell, but it's worrying as there could be a more serious underlying problem, like a short somewhere, which could develop into a fire hazard, not to mention incapacitating the toilet. One hopes they're prepared for such an unsavory eventuality. Christina Koch is an electrical engineer, so it's extremely fortuitous for the crew that she's there, as she has the expertise to troubleshoot and hopefully repair whatever is causing the burning odor. That's my hope without further issues, at least from the toilet. This is one of those cases where simplicity may be preferable to an overly sophisticated piece of hardware that can break down spectacularly and irrevocably without the resources necessary to affect a proper repair. While they can vent their urine overboard (apparently the vent froze up and they had to rotate towards the sun to defrost it), apparently their poop makes the round trip with them. That seems odd to me, as exposure to space would desiccate it and they could just eject it overboard, too. Perhaps they want to limit the number of avenues for decompression, but I'd still think ejecting the fecal matter would be preferable to keeping it in a storage bin that could potentially develop a leak thus contaminating the interior of the capsule. Anyway, once they sort out the toilet, one hopes it'll maintain its, ahem, integrity. I'll see myself out.š -

It would match, but that Tornado pack is so poorly designed unless you're not planning on keeping the back strip/big cannons on it. -

Worst I have done is Twin Cities to Hawaii in coach, bad enough. My last flight from Florida to Indiana to Nashville (stupid airlines) nearly did me in. The older I get the more claustrophobic I get. -

Comes on the heals of Google's memory compression algorithm announcement. Unfortunately, compression means shifting the work to the CPU/GPU 'cuz now you're making processors do more work and spend time decompressing. And this does nothing to fix current supply woes or drive down prices. Thanks to everyone buying up all the stock, supply and price stabilization may not happen until next year. -

They've got bags to pee in, they'll be fiiiiiine. (They've rotated the ship to get more sun on the urine vent and it seems to be working.)
