    And to think there were folks denying that the tariff situation was going to affect our hobby. FWIW, I've gotten the majority of the G1 characters I wanted in the main line, so if they were to stop production, while it would sadden me greatly, I'd continue to draw joy from what I have. That said, there are still characters left to do: Windcharger, the rest of the Constructicons, the Omnibots (I wish!!!!), a better Seeker mold, a better Soundwave mold, a better Astrotrain and Blitzwing (with equally good alt modes), better cassettes (not much hope but I can still wish), the rest of the Constructicons, the rest of the Combaticons, perhaps a deluxe Powerglide, Animated Blackout (b/c the original toy is ludicrously priced on the aftermarket), and a voyager scaled FOC Prime, just to name my most wanted off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more (I'd love to see most of Animated redone, faithful to Derrick Wyatt's vision and not homogenized with G1), but I covered the basics. I'm sure, if Hasbro were to drop the toys, third party would step up to fill the CHUG scale void, but I'd still miss the official releases. Takara would likely keep it going for at least the Asian market, so there'd likely be an avenue there as well, albeit pricier again for all the tariff nonsense. Anyway, for now, it looks like we'll still get our plastic crack. It's an uneasy reprieve, however, from the sobering concern that Hasbro has already contemplated ending toy production, especially when TF fandom is still thriving.

    Plus, Bandai just cannot get over the assumption that main characters are all anyone wants. That may be all that sells in Japan, but it's baffling how they don't even understand the value of the variety in the shows that they sponsored. The entire schtick of Delta was a squad of airshow craft, but they're too dense to comprehend the draw of completing the squad... or just too risk averse to consider producing anything that won't sell out as well as a main character, anyhow. Coupled with the never-ending reissues of Hayate, everyone's just sick of the same release. And of course, Bandai misreads the situation perfectly, interpreting the disinterest for the only release they think we should care about as apathy about the entire franchise, when all we really want is all of the other merchandise.

    I've not seen the latest yet (Monday night when I have time alone to just sit and enjoy) but so far his stories (except that Space Babies one) have been excellent across the board. I've not missed the classic villains (yet)

    If you look at the left arm it’s bending towards the bodya lot easier to see the elbows being covered in these pictures

    Weird, they actually just removed it? That feels dumb.. even if it is more accurate. Oh well, I cleaned off one to use with one of my first versions, so no real harm done, I'll just move it. Don't need more than one for a battroid display anyhow.

    Yeah, seems to be way too pricey. Most people are comparing it to buying a brand new gaming console and with the LED set would be like getting at least one really great game to go with it

    Finally had time to watch the final batch. Glad that it didn’t have the usual restart first episode talking about stuff that happened off screen. I really liked the first two episodes of this batch a lot. Lots of tension and really felt like things were moving. Overall for the season, it felt kinda mid with a few really great episodes here and there and a few that were pretty cringy. As far as the series overall the first season was far better but I think I need a rewatch of the movie as that would actually be the real end to the story.

    Today marks my first year on this forum and first year building. In celebration here’s my first build in all of its sloppy glory including glue fingerprints and everything. I’ll just call it weathering. I used rattle cans with limited color options and some enamel hand painting. I found out that using lots of panel liner makes plastic brittle since most of the fingers broke off and had to be glued in place. lol. This kit is what started it all for me and glad to have taken the leap. I’m an old fart and better late than never.
