  1. Past hour
  2. Since I display my units with the fast-packs attached I really didn't notice it! I'm just glad I didn't get it from LunaPark broken! The only thing that bothered me was that they did the detailing for the Mech-Guts edition but didn't detail it! 😢
  3. Today
  4. Yep, layer lines from the printing are pretty clear on the photo. Might be a fun winter project, but I'd need to buy a whole bunch of colors I don't already have.
  5. https://www.hlj.com/transformers-mpg-mpg-17-optimus-prime-style-gen-tkt94636 Since I'm from Australia, the price is quoted to be $224.30 AUD. anime52k8 - I can't stop looking at them and I hate them for it. I'm sure someone will make those exact pieces as an aftermarket custom to fix what should of been done right the first time by Takara Tomy.
  6. I've seen quite a few of these types of videos recently on YouTube for different mecha series. This is definitely one of the better ones.
  7. I can't stop looking at them and I hate them for it.
  8. is this going to cost 400 plus like the last mp optimus that kept breaking?
  9. Calling @Lolicon you disassemble to weather, any advice?
  10. Nexus Prime is hot as hell, and I want him right now. Edit: What a way to start a new page.
  11. Some in-color pics of the Plamatea GiTS SAC Motoko: I've been tempted to get the Hiya one but hesitant cuz of the facesculpts and price (and the disjointed looking butt ). I like the faces on this much better. Anybody here familiar with building Plamatea kits? Watched a couple of builds on YT and only one faceplate was pre-painted and the rest you had to put stickers on, so I'm not sure if the first bullet description above is accurate. From the vids, it seems like most of the parts are molded in their proper color. I hope this will scale well with the Figma pants version.
  12. Oh, if you just mean removing the entire backpack, that might be easier. I think someone showed the rough disassembly in an older thread when they were documenting painting the gear.
  13. I sort of meant the entire backpack part, both fins attached and all, its just gotta be a screw or two right? guess now I'd have the orange and the light tan being off...I'll just need to close one eye when I squint
  14. The disassembly really is a nightmare, it's why no one does it. Bandai has a bad habit of gluing things together, then screwing them together, then gluing panels over the screws so you have no way to access anything. I would be similarly pissed about the tails, but I just display the VT-1 with the boosters on it to solve the issue Though I guess I kind of adjusted to them on the Yamato? Bandai didn't invent the stubbies, they just copied them. I still want to see someone do this with them, though.
  15. Can I just re-rant on Bandai completely blowing it on the VT-1 tailfins...seriously this looks idiotic. I have a burner DX VF-1D...how hard is it to swap out the tailfin backpack on a DX? Where are the DX disassemblers around here...is it hard? The orange on the VF-1D is slightly off, but maybe it wouldn't be that noticeable if I squint.
  16. If you saw this inconspicuous looking box in a store, I bet you wouldn't know it contained a Master Grade sized knockoff of a Real Grade God Gundam kit: From my brief inspection, it looks like the color pallete of the RG God Gundam was accurately copied and the plastic is of good quality. Looking forward to a good build session.
  17. My goodness, a manga based GitS anime AND a new Patlabor show. What year is it again?
  18. yeah that was like "Wait what?" Sounds like she may have died from a sudden illness. I know she had some health issues that her internal organs were not in their proper locations. I don't know if that was something to do with her passing. But she's gonna be missed. Means we won't be seeing any future reunions with Home Alone movies, and well, Her character already passed on in Beetlejuice so there's that.
  19. I’m a little surprised. I ordered the regular Battle Pod and I got the Heavy Artillery version instead. I can't say I'm disappointed as I still like the toy. I was planning on getting the artillery variants after i checked out the normal Battle Pod first to see if I liked it. I was also worried that the Heavy Artillery variant would be hard to stand up with the weight of the missiles but I'm happy I was proven wrong. Question, does the Heavy Artillery version come with it’s own instructions or the one for the original Battle Pod?
  20. Ype, all here remebmer about rocket-car XD
