Now that I have a second set of moducases built, I have enough space to separate out SDFM and DYRL into separate shelves. Have space for my second SDF-1 in cruiser mode and Bandai's DX stuff too. In the process of moving my collection to the new cases so I can move the old cases from my living area into my office/ready room. Probably going to be a multi-week project...

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Hikaru Ichijo SL replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Me too. I can't believe how many shows I am watching. -
That’s my worry. I’d love to see their renditions of marvel characters and the game characters as well. But I think it’s just wishful thinking that we’re gonna get more than five figures total and an absolute miracle if they go beyond six, but I’m still curious

That one was pretty obvious that it was right at the end of last season. They had that will they won’t they thing going for a while and then there’s that moment where he pulled her in close at that raid episode and after that she was all his. Or more like he was all hers.

Just curious. I don’t think any of the existing kits or toys or even upcoming items have that

i cant find any decent reference material so no not at this time.

1/48 Hasegawa VF-1S "What If?" US Navy VF-84 Jolly Rogers Low Viz
JNordgren42 replied to JNordgren42's topic in The Workshop!
I put them on my rotary tool to construct a makeshift lathe (shades of Guy Fleegman there 😁) and sanded the seams nice and smooth. Then I used a scribing chisel to cut the grooves, a little more light sanding to debur, and viola! -
JNordgren42 started following 1/48 VF-19A Excalibur [VF-X RAVENS]

A little necropost here to say amazing work! I'm trying oils for the first time on my 1/48 VF-1S and I'm really enjoying the process, even if it is time consuming. This has inspired me to put a YF-19 in my Amazon cart and I'm looking at decal sheets for a little something different. My VF-1S is in low viz VF-84 Jolly Rogers and I'm thinking of going with the old school VF-1 Wolfpack markings if I do the 19. Decisions, decisions... 😁

Key phrasing there is "...found TWO YEARS of Jedha working group printouts in your files", not that she was given access 2 years prior to Krennic questioning her. She was probably added to the distribution list (mind you, the WRONG distribution list) when she was assigned to the Ghorman mining-project 4 years prior. But like Krennic said, she's a hoarder. She probably has collected documents outside of her jurisdiction on all sorts of projects and intel. i.e. She knows something about everything, but not everything about some thing in particular.

Macross Qaurters in the background, so we better get a good scale Quarter!

"What about orbital progress assessments? Eadu research journals? We found TWO YEARS of Jedha working group printouts in your files!" - Director Krennic (to Dedra Meero) Based on Krennic's remarks to Meero in S2E11... at least two years. The way his accusatory rant to Meero in that episode is framed, starting with "Ghorman mining", it suggests that Meero was accidentally put on the distribution list for those other classified reports when she was officially read in on the Ghorman operation. Since we know she assumed control of Ghorman two years ago in 3BBY, and was put on the job three years ago in 4 BBY, that suggests a time period of 2-3 years.

I'm in for Cyclops, I don't own a single non-MCU stand-in-for-a-Figuarts Legends so he'll be fine for me, that effects piece is perfection. Zero chance an Iron Man isn't in the works, Bandai loves them some Figuarts Iron Man figures.

I'm good with all of my figures from other companies that scale well together. That Cyclops will probably be the same height as Marvel Legends Wolverine.

So much of Dedra's story is internalized, told through Denise Gough's facial expressions rather than explicit dialogue, that it's hard to get a clear read on her character at the best of times... and the time jumps between second-season episodes don't help, either. 😒 Like, when and why did she and Cyril become lovers? I would've liked to have seen their relationship explored, rather than the matter-of-fact way it's simply established that they're a couple as of 4 BBY. So much of what occurs in 1 BBY we are told by other characters; we learn from Lonni Jung that Dedra had files pertaining to the Death Star project, and we learn from Krennic that Lonni had used her credentials to access her data, but there's no indication of precisely how long she'd been in possession of that information. In fact, I suspect the whole "it was e-mailed to me by mistake" excuse was a lie to obfuscate the sheer amount of hacking she must've done in her relentless pursuit of Luthen. Dedra is an unreliable narrator for many reasons, not the least of which is her claim to have been raised in "an Imperial kinder-block" since the age of three. Since the Galactic Empire had only been around for 15 years at that point (and she's clearly in her 40s), Imperial kinder-blocks would not have existed when she was a child! 🤨
-
It's not just one file. It's a bunch of them that she received over a period of years. That's a big part of why Director Krennic is so incredibly pissed at her. She was mistakenly copied on classified reports from his Jedha Working Group that she was not cleared to have for at least two entire years. That suggests the mistake was made somewhere around Ep4 "Ever Been to Ghorman?" and that she had been receiving classified files without authorization the entire rest of the series prior to her arrest in Ep11 "Who Else Knows?".
-
I get the feeling that it was before the second batch of episodes for the second season. I may be wrong, but I get the impression that by that point she has a pretty good understanding of what they were needing the resources for

At that size, will there be a cockpit?
