Mini Me! :D If you want some barrels turned in aluminum, just let me know. They have better strength and help with uniformity. - MT

by guns and missiles i mean these. think they may be hard to turn in any metal :p

however thanks for the offer, i might take you up on those at some point ;)

Ooops! The only aluminum stock I have right now is 9 mm in diameter, so a little thinner. It would take me a few hours, but I'll only charge $30 US + shipping. I can bore one end no problem, all the way through may be too week. - MT

Do you do Wave Defender barrels? Need 4 bored out for Fibre Optics and the plastic ones heat up too much

I so love this build. Is this still papercraft? Are you reinforcing the material somehow?

lets just say that papercraft is the template, which is still inside it.. ;)

but for all intents and purposes.... no its probably more correct to call this a plasticraft.

its more durable than a regular plastic kit :o

(btw read two of the books, just started on the 3rd, and so far, they are really good ^_^ )

I think it will be alright, not too flimsy. At just a little over 7cm, it's not too long. The tough part will be making the bevel cut into the middle. In fact, I think there are two tapered angles on the bevel versus one constant taper. The attached clip art is consistent with other drawings. - MT
