I went to ship something today from fromJapan and they make it very clear their prices don't include duty so maybe I'll get a second bill from DHL for my AE shipment. I'll report back if I do.

Bringing the total now to $57 for one HM-R toy. Yeh I'm DOOOOOONE after this with this crap. Officially retired from toy collecting from Japan for now and the foreseeable future.

What sucks is I bet something like $17-$18 of that $23 additional charge was probably DHL's processing fee. The tariff itself was probably like $5.

Not painting them proper grey or so while jacking up the HMR VF-19P's msrp as TWE is just the usual and regular Bandai penny-pinching nickel-n-dime tactics...

Japan seems to be a blanket 10% tariff? But add processing fees etc... Heard on a MB Facebook group that even bringing stuff in your luggage can get tariffed if over a certain value. Seems to depend on border agent but also targeting China and Japan incoming flights.
