I've been playing a lot of SF4, but this game is a really refreshing change. My only complaint would be a slightly small roster, but overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking to expand their fighting game library. I just bought it. It's rather fun. I'd say that 80% of my PSP use has been Gundam Battle or Ace Frontier games. 15% has been Ace Combat, WipEout, God of War, or Megaman. Probably cheaper. On a mostly unrelated note, for those that have seen Zack and Miri Make a Porno, you know the scene when Seth Rogan's character gets out of the car to get the heating thing out of his pants? I hope they expand and improve on the melee options from Alliance and make the online multiplayer not suck. David Hingtgen Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 Anyone else find that the most useful application of the beam weapon (F8!) by far was not to use it, but that it increased the total amount of energy available? Just divert all its energy to your lasers and shields---then you can keep them at "slow recharge" while maintaining full speed. (or on the basic TIE or INT, full recharge!) Honestly though, it did kind of "break" the game that way----just like the missile gunboat did. "Yeah, let's give them 4x the missiles, and a second load of missiles/rockets, and then allow them to outrun a TIE Defender!" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
