This is a little bit pricey than their regular VF-1’s. So hopefully they don’t mess it up again with the L’s and the R’s.

Welcome to the club sir! Sorry about the paint scratch. But yeah, that joint is really prone to scratching. What I do is somehow pull away the joint why I rotate away from that ‘potruding’ piece on the side of the shoulder wings. Anyways, you can check out @ChaoticYeti‘s stands on his website at YetiStand.com. And again, welcome to MacrossWorld —where your wallet is going to be shot down literally.
  3. Love it, Ignacio. I have to agree it does really look great in Armo-Fighter. I really want to have a Legioss figure but I’m just waiting for it to have a heavy discount. Question though. How far can the knee bend backwards and feet ankle bends in Armo-Diver Mode? I’m trying to base it on your photo and imagining that the legs are straight and the fuselage is basically drooping down to the front. Is that how it is? And if so, how farther to the back can you lean the legs so that the fuselage is not drooping too much? And can you post a pic of showing it with VF-1 Gerwalk mode in side view. Thanks!
  4. C’mon now. I’m pretty sure it’s not as bad as ‘Ka-ra-o-ke’ to ‘Ka-ree-oh-kee’, right?

I’ll probably bite just for that leg armor and put it to Silvie’s.
  6. Nah. How about Chronos colors on Kairos. Now that’s an instant buy for me. Great pictures as always, @Saburo.
  7. Hey David. I can’t remember if the SDF-1 did fired its main bow cannons in Fortress Mode in the movie just like it did with the TV series.
  8. Yup. There’s no ‘J’ in Latin back then. So Jehovah was spelled Iehovah. Now you make me want to watch that movie too.
  9. I read it somewhere (most probably here) that Stick should be Stig. But I agree with you that the straight romanization of his name is Stick. Unless they used 'Gu' instead of 'Ku' then it's just proper to romanize it as Stig.
  10. Nice! That’s the order you mentioned pages ago from BBTS, right? Good that you already have it.
  11. I agree. It’s 35th Anniversary celebration and all it has is a black and white kite logo. I mean, look at the effort they put on their recent One Piece 20th Anniversary Seiko watch. Right? But, I still have to post that Macross Seiko watch since it’s legit Macross product. Hehehe.
  12. If he’s more familiar with GunPlas, then I understand his frustrations on building this. I have that same kit before and from the get-go I really can tell that it needs more work than Bandai’s. That kit is flimsy when you build it as is. Not like with Bandai which is sturdy and it has internal support built-in already. With Hasegawa, it’s mostly hollow. You have to fill in some fillers to make the kit a little sturdy esp for figures/robots not like their plane counterparts.
  13. Nice! You guys think that the Figuarts Freyja or Mikumo can mount without a problem in Gerwalk mode?
  14. Premium Bandai is going to release a Seiko Chronograph watch in celebration of Macross 35th Anniversary for Y37800. Preorder starts on July 30, 2018. 11pm JST. Will be released on December 2018. http://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000126837/

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm pretty sure the reviewers shot their videos after the first try.
  16. And after that, they should release a Tamashii Web Exclusive Air Show Effect Display Stand Set with light-up features that includes a 'non-movable' Hikaru's Fan Racer in the middle with the rest of the exhaust effect around it where the HMR Angel Birds Five Pack Set should be displayed. Kinda like this. Cool, right?
  17. The head is separate from my PF version. It's in a plastic tray container. See Jenius' photo from his Anymoon website.
  18. Yeah, probably in par (or smaller) with the size of the KC's Cockpit Speaker. This is more like basing it on available sizes we have from Macross Mecha Manual and the 1/60 VF-1's from Yamato/Arcadia. If the official height of Battroid is 12.68m. The length of the Gunpod that came with the 1/60 figure is 105mm. And Arcadia's Gunpod size release is 840mm. Then it's somewhere around 1/7 - 1/8 scale. Now all we need is the rest of the plane parts.
  19. That is so true. Aftermarket prices of Metal Builds are expensive so it’s better to get it during release assuming you’re not getting some old ones. Before you take the plunge on Metal Builds that’s going to get released, understand that not everything is going to hold up forever. If it’s going to stay in the box for awhile, then yes, it will hold up very well. If you’re going to pose it just standing along with other figures, yeah it will hold. If you’re going to leave it in certain pose for a few days, months even, there might be a possibility that when you put it back in normal pose and start to pose it differently, you will notice a little bit of looseness in the joints. If you’re going to keep posing it from time to time, then yeah, certain joints will become loose. And from what I’ve read online, some diecast toys tends to become loose even if it kept new in the box. Anyways, all I can say is enjoy what you buy. Edit: Forgot to mention that I have mostly all of Exia and 00 and all of the joints are still great. The second hand Freedom that I got has loose hip joints and according to the seller it was just displayed and not played. The Red Astraea that I got is so super tight and it’s still in the box since I don’t have extra space for it for now. But I can say that all the KO Metal Builds that I have, those are super tight.
