I lower my expectations for this KO. I mean, if the parts from the original doesn't have breakage nor misaligned areas, and we get feedbacks on how it was on these KO's for those parts, what are the chances of the parts that was fixed or updated from the latest or last version of Yamato/Arcadia's VF-1 will not break or give out in these KO's? But like everyone is saying, if these were $80 something including Super/Stike Parts, I'll bite. But more than $100, I'll probably save more to get an original.

Granted that it was designed with Super/Strike parts but they still included the parts for a vanilla Gerwalk. Besides the Super/Strike parts only covers the side of the backpack, leaving the top part expose not looking or lacking the details we see in the lineart or any other iterations of the Gerwalk. At this scale, they should’ve put or followed more what’s already in the design. I think that is more what's Tekering's referring to.

I'd go with A too. Great scheme, Kelsain. But can you try adding white on the head? Like on the mouth piece. Right now the head blends too much around the blue parts surrounding it.

Welcome to the MacrossWorld, JagimusPrime! I remember this kit. I used to have one before. Hikaru's VF-1J. Here's some tips on those symbols: Be mindful on the areas that has the "!" and areas that has a mix of broken and solid arrows. Usually, areas that has both arrows states that some parts are movable and you just need to add the glue on the areas usually that holds the parts that's moving. See section (5) of the manual. All those parts are inserted with no gluing needed (broken arrow). But parts 36 & 39 should be glued together (solid arrow) like a sandwich. Same as section (11). Parts 101 should be glued to 93 with part 113 sandwiched within. Part 113 should be able to slide in and out. Anyways, hope it helps. Looking forward to your work in progress photos. Have fun building!

That's a mean looking Armored Gerwalk. Hope there's enough sticker to edit the label to U.N.Spacy and Macross.

I’ll wait for Hasbro’s MP-44 price announcement first. It’s my planned first Prime figure. But if the price is like that, I’ll pass and stick with Rodimus figures.- 17117 replies

TagHobby also posted Takara’s MP-44 Optimus Prime ver.3 for Y50000. http://www.taghobby.com/archives/290774 It includes the trailer. Maybe the trailer also transforms into a dock repair base along with Roller like the G1 toys?- 17117 replies

I'll rather check the figure first before deciding on gluing it. If it's going to come as loose like YF-19's fin, then I'll probably dap a touch of nail polish where it pivots just to make it tighter. But if it's not a hindrance on its playability, I'll just leave it as is. Besides, who does really 'play' with their Valkyries here?

MC should start creating a new RX-78 since I didn't get the GFFMC one. So I can justify on getting the MC Zaku.

I'm thinking if I should preorder the MC Zaku or just wait for GFFMC Zaku.
