You're welcome, David. I'm sure it will become available upon release date. If not, NY is an option.

Or... just keep the gun and rifle inside the box. It's an option.

It’s freakin’ 1/48.

I have to agree that if we purchase this aftermarket price then it sucks. But if we got it from initial release, what’s the difference compared to getting the recent YF-19 in discounted PO price with a broken antenna? And like I mentioned before, though I forgot which thread, that what I really miss with todays toys is how solid the toys are back when we were kids. Nowadays, the more it gets too complex, the more it becomes fragile. If they tried to use sturdy and strong materials to produce any complex toys, for sure we’re going to pay more. And that’s a given.

Looks gorgeous Lolicon! Hey David. You missed the initial PO? NY is still has it for preorder. Though with a mark up price for Y15500. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/26613-hi-metal-r-vf-4-lightning-iii.html

Bandai’s ‘Christmas Spirit’ is to give us a ‘Christmas Breather’ in preparation for their 2019 Consumers Spending Schemes. Didn’t you get the ‘Consumer’s Memo’?

Thanks guys! I’ll think about this line.

Those prototype figures looking good. Even though Roy’s kinda look like a rejected face design for Cyborg 009. Anyways, wish they consider next their military uniform and their civvies. Hika... er, I mean Rick’s in his Fan Racer get-up. And after their Macross Saga line, wish they continue doing it for the New Generation characters such as Scott, Rand, Rook, and Yellow. (Man, I hate it when I need to Google their Robotech counterparts before posting so I won’t make mistakes. Don’t want to hurt Robotech’s Purists feelings. )

That’s because the price mentioned by glane21 it already has that 15% discount applied to it. And yes, Valkyire Factory or KO VF-1 is already a good keyword search.

Let's all pretend we're 'grown ups' here. If you didn't like the post before you, just move along.
-
Really? So matching Walküre and Valkyries falls into what category then? The thing is that I don't want to start another line. I'm just playing on the idea if I were to get one. And that means I need to get another one for pairing.
-
Jolly Rogers? Now you're asking me to get the Roy version than Rick's then.

It's awesome, Xigfrid!

Hey JVM! Thanks. That's the same thing Tochiro told me. But it's not what I remember. The art doesn't look like that and the headset that he's wearing is not the same. And I didn't remember reading it in a Koro Koro Magazine. But, if that manga featured the VF-1J in that Deep Diver Equipment Configuration, then maybe that's the one. But to be honest, when I saw those images it didn't click in my head. If only those books were with me here in the states, I could scan it and show it to you guys coz it's a cool story ala-Build Fighters. And that Bull (Regult) Fighter I mentioned earlier is really awesome.

None that I know of. Most of the Macross toys we purchase it directly online from Japan. It will be stateside afterwards if ever a member here decides to sell it. And also, there's that legal issues why there's no Macross toys sold stateswide.

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
no3Ljm replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
C'mon now. If I were to like the series only and hate the toys that they're producing, would that prohibit me to join this forum as well? I'm pretty sure he just loves hanging out with people who also loves Macross and its Valkyries in general. After all, this is MACROSSWORLD. -
I say very far, my friend. They over-engineer simple stuff, remember? But kidding aside, I have to admit between the current Macross stuff that Bandai’s been doing compared to the old Takatoku stuff, it’s huge. I really do appreciate current technology on how to create those complex transformation and still keep those cool looking feature of a plane and a robot. The only thing I really do miss from the old toys is the quality to stand the test of time. Like usually it would break years, and I mean years, after you purchase it from playing roughly with it. Remember you were a child back then when you were playing these solid toys. And not a couple of days or months even just after you, as an adult, transformed it — very carefully.

No worries sir. Thanks Tochiro. -
I think is a good place to ask this rather than creating a new thread for it. I posted this in the New Macross thread as part of my reply: Tochiro suggested that it might be the Plamo Tensai Esper Taro. In which I replied: Would be nice if someone could tell me the title of the manga. Thanks!

Thanks Tochiro. But I doubt it’s that one. After you replied I kind of search the title and the image I saw doesn’t look familiar. Esp the lead character. I remember he’s wearing a headphone with mic but it’s not the same as what Taro is wearing. I don’t remember him having some friends with some Defenders kits. The other character I remember is the love interest that when she got introduced she was wearing a full face mask with a ‘manly’ voice and pilots a Q-Rau. Also, I don’t remember reading some Koro Koro Magazine back then where Esper Taro was being published. It was just the Shogaku San/Yon Nen Sei. I did find an image of VF-1J in Space Equipment Type ‘Deep Diver’ configuration that was featured in that manga. Looks awesome by the way. It was actually. -
They really did enjoy that mousepad. Those 'H' bastards. Hahaha!

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
no3Ljm replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
I don't mind this. I remember back in the 80's in Japan, I've been following a manga featured in Shogaku San Nensei book. Not sure if it's San Nensei (3rd Grade) or Yon Nensei (Fourth Grade). Either way, the manga is a story about a boy with a VF-1J model kit and fights other model kits. And it looks cool since his VF-1J transforms on-the-fly in all modes and sometimes he's adding parts to it depends on the arena situation. So basically it's like Build Fighters and Puraresu Sanshiro. Too bad I forgot the title of that manga. There's a memorable fighter that I keep on remembering from that manga is that he fought with a Bull that when it got shot down and got separated into 2 Glaugs and a custom mecha that came out from the Bull's head. If anyone here is reading those manga books before and knows the title of it, please share it. Thanks! -
